My dad, who was notoriously short tempered, and never suffered fools, gladly or otherwise, was cursed with neighbours with barking dogs. It stopped when he called them at 3:00 a.m. and barked loudly into the phone. It got the point across.

Yeah, that’s my thinking too. And people say “What about sourdough bread?”. Made with “wild” yeast. Sadly, I like beer too.

I don’t know about beer bread; a lot of beers have yeast in them anyway, and I haven’t been able to find any soda bread in my neighbourhood. Fortunately, I do like scones and tortillas.

I’ve recently come to the conclusion that yeast is the mystery ingredient that has been triggering my IBS for over 40 years now, so yeast breads are out. I love bread.

A mystery then. My friend was never really sure that’s where he contracted it, but that was the most likely explanation he could come up with for his case.

Each cat or dog is its own person; like children you have to love them for themselves and not compare them with others. But volunteering is a good idea because you might fall in love (never happened to Krispy; nope!)
