I got the astrazeneca, and had flu-like symptoms a day later. Not terrible; mostly headache and sore arm. Ask if you can take an NSAID, like motrin or advil to help with the side-effects. They said “okay” to me, but you should ask when you get it.

It’s strange to say, but when it’s time, you will likely know, and she may tell you herself.

I would say, take your cues from her; is she still eating, still enjoying sniffing when she goes out, even for a short walk, still enjoying sleeping in the sun? In other words, is she still getting some enjoyment out of life.
