Can you trap him and get him to a vet?

As someone who has a “weird bend” too, do you have IBS? I do, and there is some thought that some cases might be due to “weird bends” and things not moving through quite as they should.

Oh, the rural Ontario accents!

There are three or four artists whose work I would love to buy, and she is one of them. One day.

Now playing

Your sky photo reminds me of various prints by a brilliant U. K. monotype printer, Rebecca Vincent;

I’ve said before that I’m actually grateful that I grew up poor, because it means that I damn well know the value of a dollar, and because of that I’ve been able to get two university degrees, and buy a house as a single woman on one income, and pay it off early, among other things. I know what is frivolous, and not

That essay, man ... and all the people who shared their own stories in the comments.

They are actually two converging points of view, one from the deep past, moving slowly, and the other from the recent past, moving more quickly, and they meet up at the end of the novel in what I found to be a very satisfying way. The slow story is actually flashbacks, providing context and nuance to the faster story.

Now I need to look up John Scalzi!

I love the Vorkosigan Saga! They are fun reads, just as John Scalzi is a fun read.

Keep reading the Vorkosigan Saga; it may not be deep, but her writing becomes richer as the series goes on.

I always tell people that the Ancillary Justice/Radch Space series is really about identity, colonisation, and other “big” themes, but wrapped up in a pretty space opera package.

Have you read The raven tower?

Anything Leckie writes is amazing. I read her latest novel “The raven tower” a few months ago, and I’m still talking about it to anyone who will listen.

I guess some people react more strongly to the sedatives. I really just wanted to sleep it off in the recovery room, but I suspect they wouldn’t have let me stay for several hours. The only thing that got me up and moving (and maybe this is the real reason they want someone to meet you), is that I didn’t want my

So the joy was shared? I didn’t notice the gas until I got up from recovery and headed off to go home, and then by the time I got off transit, I was feeling really sick.

For the prep, you must include gatorade, or other athletic drink! I’ve known people who relied on water and juices, and they were very, very shaky. I hate gatorade, but it made the prep easier.

Yep; they can work for hours in the hot Australian outback.
