Midnight Organ Fight is a great one. ‘Poke’ is something else

Totally understandable criticism. I felt like we were supposed to believe that the reliability didn’t necessarily matter given what happened to the family

I read Head Full of Ghosts this past year during my annual ‘it’s October, give me all things scary’ binge, and really enjoyed it. Eerie from start to finish, and a persistent feeling that something really bad is about to happen. Seems like Perkins is a perfect match for it

I subscribed to Netflix during my freshman year of college when they ran a promotion through Xbox. Despite that, my buddies and I weren’t totally sold on streaming, and made a DVD queue as a group. What finally got us to buy in, and was the first thing we binged, was Avatar: the Last Airbender

There were also points when crucial information was doled out via loading screen. As bad as that is, it was possible to not see some of those screens, and therefore miss the only stated explanation of certain events

I only *just* got around to finishing the main quest in Witcher 3, so my big games of 2018 will be the DLC.

Can we all agree at this point that 90% of what we were told about this game before launch was bullshit? I mean, when they announced you could only play as Noctis, the reasoning was that they wanted the gameplay to reflect that it was his story. Clearly that’s not true. Between this and Jason’s interview with Tabata (h

I’m sure somebody has pointed this out already, but to make the hockey sketch just a little funnier, that was a real jersey in the sketch. The player is American, but Chance’s hesitancy was well founded-it’s pronounced ‘Shea.’

Second on it being the tensest. My roommate has some anxiety-related heart issues, and decided to watch the movie with me. He had to leave the room at one point, and did his doctor-recommended destressing exercises afterwards

Here's my isssue with the thought that hitting it head on would have changed things- wouldn't Drogon's shoulder, as a joint connecting to a wing, be one of the weakest points of his body? Haven't we been led to believe that a dragon's skull, with horns, scales, plates, etc, is one of the strongest points of it's body?

How is a giant crossbow that can barely pierce a dragon's shoulder suppose to kill it? Am I the only person who thought the bolt was comically under-powered compared to Qyburn's original demonstration?

It's still a little far-fetched, but I think we're supposed to believe that since the hulls and sails of Euron's ships were all black that they would blend into the night sky/sea until they attacked

I remember my parents buying me the VHS of the trilogy when they were released in 1995. I was not-quite-4 years old, so I struggled with the idea of sequels. The tapes were sold individually or in a package, and after I spent some time deciding which movie I wanted (again, I didn't quite understand they were

I finished The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch early this month, and it was phenomenal. I felt really smart as the last few pages got closer, because I thought I had a good handle on what was and wasn't real. Of course, that was not the case.

Agreed on all counts. My stepping stone into gose's was Avery Brewing's El Gose. I picked it up because the can was unique, and I was intrigued at the description of tequila salts in beer. It's far from the most sour beer but it's got a nice little bite of lime.

I took advantage of a May the Fourt hsale to finally download KOTOR. I'll be playing that for sure. The roommate and I might make our way back into Borderlands 2 split screen, but who knows.

I find 'realistic' graphics with poor games attached just as disappointing. Things like Final Fantasy XIII, Rage, or Destiny (at least before expansions) were all jaw dropping until I actually played them.

Which do you consider to be the poorer Black Mirror episodes?

I played through the 1.5 and 2.5 remixes on PS3 late last year. It is quintessential mindless fun. The super-bosses, or trying to get ultima weapon in the 1.5 remix, not so mindless, not so fun

I started The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch . I'm a sucker for Philip K. Dick, and the Martian colonists' escapism certainly resonates in today's world
