I also like the fact that Toyota recalled 1 2016 4Runner per campaign 16V937000. And that counts against it.

Perhaps someone else already asked this, but I’m curious what knocks 3000lbs off of the towing capacity on the base vs. higher-spec models? Same drivetrain across the board, similar curb weights... is it a suspension thing? Brake size? I’m genuinely curious.
Done.
Is it better than the “flying vagina” (Jalopnik-coined name for pre-facelift Tribeca). https://jalopnik.com/153880/the-flying-what-the-2007-subaru-tribecas-newish-nose
Haven’t yet. My current driver is a ‘98 Volvo S70. I took my driver’s test in this car. Went to prom in this car. 15 & 18 years later, took both of my kids (as newborns) home from the hospital in this car. Still driving it. Only time it left me stranded was my fault for running it out of fuel. While parked.
I know. It’s mentioned here as a “keep in mind” but that’s a pretty big asterisk in my opinion.
I’m sorry, but even Volvo can’t make shiny black plastic look high end (infotainment surround, steering wheel controls, center console near drive-mode selector, etc). Piano black, and all shiny, grease-magnet plastic should be banned from automobiles.
Maybe? But likely none that will change the overall shape, I’d imagine. That shape is cut into the bumper. So it might need to be a full bumper replacement.
Same. When I pulled my first renesis, I was amazed at how small the “keg” was.
No kidding! Where is this magical fantasy land?
This is thing looks so delightfully handmade and slapped together. And it also looks straight out of fallout 4.
I mentioned in a follow up post that I failed to realize CA categorizes these things similar to motor scooters. I was thinking they were classified as bicycles, and that was my mistake.
I should probably append the above to say that I failed to recognize that the state of CA classifies these things in a similar category to motor scooters. Like... the grown up kind... and it is in fact a violation of *state* law & I was mistaken.
Former Peoples Republic of Santa Monica resident here. Can confirm, these are only SM laws and (mercifully) not common to the rest of the state. I’m pretty sure SF DGAF about helmetless hipsters with poor taste clogging up their sidewalks on wheeled conveyances.
