This. Recent pic. I took my test in 1997, when this car was brand new (its a ‘98). Been in the family its entire life, and I still daily it. 303,000 miles.

As did I.

Both engines are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Any time, ever, having to deal with Toyota dealer parts counters.
Me: Here’s a part number, I need it, I called you on the phone and you said you had it, in fact I’m looking over your shoulder and I see it sitting right there.
Them: Whats your VIN?
Me: I don’t have a VIN handy, look, I just need this exact part number,

Meh, I’ve had worse happen to my [rental] car when street parked in Philly.

I don’t mind cutting of the front fenders on an XJ because you can pretty easily bolt-on some replacements once the moron who originally hacked them off gets tired of not being able to run a body lift and graduates to some other garbage brodozer thing.

1978 Triumph TR7. I learned to walk 4 months early because of that thing, or so my mom says.

I put it in the box inside the inner pocket of my jacket and took it everywhere. I took the jacket off and put it in the bin by itself for the x-ray. TSA never batted an eye, my girlfriend (now wife) was none the wiser.

I dig the simplicity of the interior but what I like the most is that it barely has any of that garbage ‘piano black’ trim... just the bezel around the “I’m here to remind you that you’re too poor to afford the bigger screen” LCD, and on the non-touch surfaces of the HVAC & audio dials.

idc if there’s no air filter, 12/10, would blow entire 401k on.

I honestly considered one of these, but no manual killed it for me.

While I disagree with your opinion, the car in the video is exceptional. The design is great, I love the shape and the look. However Toyota and Lotus did small/mid engine better with the MR2 and Elise, respectively.

Doesn’t make the X1/9 any less terrible.

Those Fiats were trash when new, and I can’t imagine it became easier to keep them on the road with the passing of time. I saw so many of them in scrapyards in the 80's in pristine condition, many with under 20k miles, that I thought Fiat shipped them directly there just to cut out the middle man.

I caught this after it was edited by PG... what was in it?

I’m 6'1" w/a 34" inseam & our son was/is 99th percentile height and outgrew the infant seat that did fit rear-facing behind the front seats within 4 months.

Up until this redesign, I’ve never met an Accord I didn’t like the looks of. I used to own a ‘97 before it rusted into powder and I almost bought an ‘04.

I don’t hate them. I even like the side profile and rear view. But those headlights and that grille... do not want.

All of that, with a face only a mother could love.
