I loved it too, though I was driving a Ford Transit Diesel the whole time. Still, flat out is flat out, and 130kph in a Ford Transit Diesel is plenty exciting.

I might be in the minority here, but had I the choice between driving in Los Angeles every day, or driving in the sticks where I currently live, I’d pick LA every. single. time.
I agree. 6 lug wheels. I don’t think there has been a 6 lug Ram 1/2 ton in a long time.
I’ve owned two, and my issues with their lack of reliability and usable interior cargo space above the belt-line aft of the rear seats are well documented here so I’ll keep this positive: These are hands down, the most beautiful Subarus ever made.
I used to live in Portland, ME. Good luck finding a place to actually use all of that power. Not a straight, flat, pothole-free road in the entire town.
They’re both 1998. Took delivery of the S70 on 31 October 1997, so its 20 year anniversary is coming up.
Of course! How could I be so blind! There’s the turn signal relay, the fuse, the ‘clicker’ (some cars have these independent of the flasher relay), and the instrument panel bulbs that illuminate the arrows on the dash!
I prefer the alternate theme. More Ferrari noises.
Haha same here (stubborn, like old stuff). Nice work on the fuel pump! I’m about to do the fuel filter and pump on my ‘98 S70 next weekend for only the 2nd time in 300k miles.
I think you need a new mechanic, I’ve never paid more than $18.95/qt for it and I use full synthetic!

Ah the later ones can be tougher to diagnose because they played a bit fast and loose, mixing and matching ignition systems and fuel systems etc. Best of luck to you!
The utter ridiculousness of the statement *is* the joke.
What year is your 240? I’d check out brickboard, turbobricks or swedishbricks (if they’re even still around) to help diagnose it.
You’re forgetting the wear and tear on the turn signal switch. I just had to replace both in my 300,000 mile Volvo and 351,000 mile Toyota. Why, it’s practically an everyday occurrence!
As if I needed yet another online-excuse to spend all weekend watching car videos on youtube and neglect my Datsun...
3rd street Promenade in Santa Monica is always packed, too... but in order for those kinds of things to work, you need something else in the area to draw people in. People aren’t going to drive from the west side to Irwindale to go to a mall unless there’s a compelling reason for them to do so that isn’t a shopping…
I had a “northern” accent when I lived in Jackson 10-12 years ago, so it almost became a weekly thing to be asked by some toothless redneck what side my family fought for during the ‘war of northern aggression.’
Probably still hotter than your mix tape.
