Head gasket failures on both, piston ring (ring lands) failures on the silver car, valve cover gaskets that are basically a 50k mile repair item, “tumble generator valves” that would fail every 30-50k on the red car, fuel leaks under the intake manifold on the silver car, intercoolers splitting apart under stock boost…

I agree! I’m still in love with the way they looked. That generation Legacy is still my favorite of all time in the looks department. But, like a beautiful person with a terrible personality, I had to cut them (both) loose.
