retro did a fantastic job with metroid prime so i’m glad it’s in capable hands presuming the right people responsible for prime are still around. That said, the part of me that was excited to maybe play this game this year says “ughhhhhh!...”

the games are cut from the same cloth so comparisons between them are bound to happen.  The main difference between them (business wise) and i honestly had forgotten about this until i started typing this post is that Fortnite is free to play out of the gate and PUBG has an upfront costs but both hit you up for money…

i just dusted off my copy of destiny 2 forsaken this week so i’m interested to see what shakes out of this over the next few months/years. 

No it’s not their fault but they are the cause of the problem.  Fact is that Fortnite has been around for over a year now and it has a major skill gap problem that Epic has yet to address.

Yeah I have a higher tolerance for it especially in free to play stuff but I remember it really being sucky when I was playing a lot of Clash Royale so comparatively fortnite is pretty benign
