retro did a fantastic job with metroid prime so i’m glad it’s in capable hands presuming the right people responsible for prime are still around. That said, the part of me that was excited to maybe play this game this year says “ughhhhhh!...”
interesting find especially in light of PUBG running off of the same engine and having the same issues. turns out games are imperfect. I also hear people playing on phones are at a disadvantage to people playing on mouse and keyboard. ;)
My favorite spot for the past few seasons has been the TV studio warehouse east of Junk Junction, up to 4 chests, plenty of wood and quick access to several quads to the southeast or i can fight whoever is left in JJ after my initial land. This and the house northeast of Wailing Woods with the brick tower are where…
I’m a very middle of the pack player but I’ve gotten a few hundred wins after playing the game over the past year and when i first started out I would always land at named locations which is fine, if you’re looking for early fights or you’re a very good player looking for sacrifices to your fortnite blood god, I’ve…
i just checked out the demo last night and holy crap is that well done. I can’t wait to see the full release.
“Whadaya Buyin?”
not to steal thunder away from what may be a decent headset for the money but the hyperx cloud alpha headset that’s the new top recommended gaming headset by the wirecutter is on sale at best buy and amazon this week for $75 (down from $100). I picked it up to upgrade from my 1st gen hyperx cloud and i’m very happy…

I just saw this clip and had to share. This is a pro player getting tricked by this exact strategy.
except they’re not really giving up the 2 inventory slots to do this, they can easily use 2 balloons out of a stack and drop the pack for another item and give themselves a generous floaty super jump and then leap from the tops of trees or other things around the map until they find their victims and if their balloons…
it’s not that i expect fortnite to be realistic but they have a pattern of adding things to the game that have little to no effective counterplay to them. For example, balloons have been around since last season, it allowed players to very quietly fly high into the air and shortly after they reworked them so players…
The Glider Re-deploy continues to be a bad feature only now it’s compounded by the fact that we also have every other mobility item in the game added on top of it. Your chances of just being able to fight 1 person at a time are at an all time low. Within seconds of a fight starting, it’s very likely another one or more…
i felt the same way, i just got tired of every mission being ride to this location for 5 minutes, shoot 50 dudes, listen to dialogue along the way.
That said, Arthur Morgan is one of my favorite characters in games in years and i love every bit of the characters in the game, except Micah, because fuck Micah. Curious,…
i’m not upset with him, i’m baffled by the people who donated. I mean at least he can buy a really nice set of headphones to replace the ones he needlessly broke. maybe i should stream myself “watching netflix for 10 hours” and see what happens.
the games are cut from the same cloth so comparisons between them are bound to happen. The main difference between them (business wise) and i honestly had forgotten about this until i started typing this post is that Fortnite is free to play out of the gate and PUBG has an upfront costs but both hit you up for money…
i just dusted off my copy of destiny 2 forsaken this week so i’m interested to see what shakes out of this over the next few months/years.
No it’s not their fault but they are the cause of the problem. Fact is that Fortnite has been around for over a year now and it has a major skill gap problem that Epic has yet to address.
this sounds exactly like the thing a bunch of salty kids who did something dumb and got their accounts compromised/banned or parents who don’t pay attention to what their kids are doing and got a huge credit card bill would do.
I’m a parent too and my kids share my 2 fortnite accounts with me and there’s only been one…
Yeah I have a higher tolerance for it especially in free to play stuff but I remember it really being sucky when I was playing a lot of Clash Royale so comparatively fortnite is pretty benign
it’s been a while since i’ve played pubg but do their microtransactions do this? nobody said they did but you’re definitely hit up to view new items in the shop every time you log in.
