If you're interested in hearing a child's experience, this might change your mind (or not, I don't know).

And I'm telling you that is misleading. Don't cling to figures and refuse to face the qualifying circumstances around them.
I have never met a family like yours. You're unusual.
I hear that pre/post UK handgun ban stat all the time. It is infuriating. Please stop using it, and treat everyone who does with suspicion.
I don't think either gender is any more or less likely to become iconic or more appealing. Maybe those female characters stand out to you because they're relatively unusual?
Of course women don't have a problem playing as male characters, or there wouldn't be so many female gamers already. However, games are an entertainment medium, like films, TV and novels, and that's not an excuse for not changing anything. How weird would it be if you hardly ever saw a film with a female protagonist?…
Whoooooooosh.
Blah blah blah. Yes, of course, you're the person who's being oppressed. Tired of you now.
Ah good. AC2 was pretty rail-sy too though!
Excuse me - who am I? What a glorious example of assumptions.
If virtually every game that involved one character saving another character of the opposite gender was the story of a woman saving a man, you'd be far more pissed off. You'd feel that these stories were making men seem like a weak gender who need saving, who cannot sort things out for themselves.
Even supposing that's true - and looking at the world as it stands, this is a bizarre statement from my point of view - if men have an innate need to protect female characters, they will have no problem playing as a female character and ensuring she succeeds. If he likes women so much, he'll have no problems…
Yeah. I really want the ability to melt into shadows, and to create shadows of course (or, come to that, create lit areas). The game also seriously needs mansion-sized buildings with big internal structures so that we can have some tension and creative play in infiltration missions.
I'll probably buy it, but AC:R and AC3 were both disappointingly "on rails", and that's an impression which isn't changing for me so far with AC4. I hope I'll be proved wrong though.
There's a tiny improvement mentioned in the narration, that you have to avoid the light of the searcher's lanterns or you'll be spotted in cover. I hadn't realised that from seeing the E3 demo.
Haha!
But smartphone/tablet power is increasing dramatically year on year. NVidia needs new customers because the PC technology is so far ahead of where it needs to be, and they're courting mobile manufacturers already.
I can't really see this affecting her career though. I suspect she'll just invite a few more black guests onto her show and that will be the end of it.
