That's good to hear. Really though, I think Sony had this from even the PS1. There's a type of game they've encouraged, not just from the indies but also the majors, which means that I can see a few seconds of video of a certain type of game - Flower, Journey, Ico, for example - and know for sure that this will be on

Hmm. I'm not sure why that is, since I haven't read many of the comics. I didn't pick up anything in the games to indicate why this would be, anyway.

I might not buy either machine. If I do, I'll probably buy the PS4 because of the range of games, from the cute/arty end through to the super-serious blockbusters.

The joke was DOA, since you only have to connect for ~1MB of data each day.

Never forgiving this guy for his toe-curling "London" accent as The Penguin.

This wouldn't be for godawful relationships, and it wouldn't work for them. This would only be useful for long-term relationships that had been successful and then slid down to a level of friendship rather than romance. It would be for couples who had experienced that limbo and were both sad about it.

Don't know what that's meant to mean!

I'm from the south east of England, so there's no way "snu" would sound like a Yorkshire "snow" for me. I'm struggling to think who that would work for... "Snerr" all the way!

If there's any 80s music star Kate resembles, it's not Boy George! Are you sure you weren't thinking of Robert Smith? Because...

Paul Danan?

Maybe, but some animals (especially seals and sea lions, in fact) just don't have fear of us even when meeting us for the first time. Perhaps they even see something in common when seeing our size, shape, sound and behaviour as we do them.

If anyone from Microsoft is listening, I want games like this. I can't be the only one, right?

You're not going to hear Tyrion's voice, so he'll be unrecognisable to all but the biggest fans of his films.

Ico didn't, not really. There was combat of a sort, but nobody died. You constantly got a sense that maybe even the smoky creatures, terrible though they seemed, might just be prisoners too. Really it was just about providing a little problem about how to prevent your partner from being stolen away from you.

The anticipation needs to be understood in terms of how Ico felt. Perhaps you weren't there for Ico's debut release? I think it would be pretty hard for anyone to run Ico for the first time today and understand just how special it was. You'd still get a great game with a lot of beauty, but the pleasant surprise of it

I didn't notice either. I had to go back and watch to see what people were talking about in the comments, having not noticed the breasts at all.

I saved most of the side content until last. My opinion of the game actually went down after completing the Homestead, naval etc missions. At first I thought it was an okay title - but not very good and certainly not excellent - but in the end I despised it quite a bit.

It must be a real fucking grind being bitter about shit you can either choose to play or not play, because it's free. These little things could be contributing to your enjoyment in being alive right now, but you chose otherwise.

Well, this person was talking in technical terms. I can understand saying you like Doom3 better because it's atmospheric, and it has a more consistent-feeling world, whereas this F2P has a comparatively weak setting.
