Don't be ridiculous. The graphics aren't next gen, but Doom3 did not look better than this ten years ago (plus it was THE AAA game!). Saying it "looks like fucking 1998" is even more absurd.

1) Looks like a girl

Where do you live? In the UK, every hospital has wifi.

The number of pills in a bottle is carefully selected for that reason.

It's almost as if you don't believe the claims of DottyBingo.com

Just answered this topic in my other reply.

He said that, just as with Jade in Beyond Good & Evil, if you squint she could be from various combinations of background. However, just like with Jade, in Nilin's case black would definitely be a part of her recent heritage. It was worth mentioning when BG&E came out - and many people did, I remember - and it's worth

In societies where white people have the majority of the power, it's pointless to ask why we're not talking about her being partly white.

Why define her race at all? Because we live in the 21st century, and this gigantic entertainment medium still struggles to make a reasonable proportion of blockbuster games that aren't about athletic white men with brown hair

Evan is not saying there's a problem. He's praising this game for including this character without an immense amount of fanfare about her gender or "blackness", while also acknowledging that it's great when other games wrap those issues firmly into the story. Saying the problem is more with Evan than the developers is

Yeah, I think it's very important to be able to see what's going on in a mechanical sense, if you'll excuse such a cold word.

That is some pretty nimble thinking.

I think there's something in one of those examples which explains why swearing is something I both enjoy and dislike: the kid dropping her juice cup and saying "Son of a bitch!".

That's very true, but then Vista was an absolute dog. W8 is not. The big strike against it is the Metro page, and the message is increasingly getting across that this issue was overblown by critics. As more people experience it, they're finding the OS is no different to use but it does come with some modest speed

Because the series has mainly been based on a visceral FPS experience, I guess, so it's okay to gamble on this, and because so many people have commented online that they won't buy a new PC unless it has Win7.

Yeah true, I can see that. I'm a Win7 user right now too.

Ha ha! In my case, I love it anyway, and when I bought into it I did so knowing that it wasn't well supported for games (I'm not really looking to use my phone for games, so much as browsing, music and video).

It's a slow strategy. WP8 is an extremely capable mobile OS, and is really quick and responsive even on lower spec phones, but it's not taken seriously for games yet because of the obvious vicious circles: not enough gamers or devs invest in it, because neither group sees enough action there already. MS wants all

It's Microsoft's flagship game! Besides, for any WP8 users like me, this is fantastic news. Every company makes and/or pays for platform exclusives, and this could help immensely with increasing interest in WP8.
