People are making fun, but a self-balancing bike could be cool for people with disabilities. My kid is hemiplegic from cerebral palsy and never could learn how to stay up on a bike.

I really wanted to get into it. Even though episode 1 bored me, I watched through episode 4 hoping it would get more interesting, but it didn’t and I gave up. I can’t believe they sunk $200 million dollars into it; no wonder they want to at least get a universe out of their investment.

They spent $200 million on that? But it was so boring! I tried so hard to get into it, forcing myself to watch multiple episodes hoping it would pick up, but I gave up after 4.

I liked it a lot. However, I’ve been playing the DLC “A New God” which is basically all Trials - basically vaults of Tartarus - and the DLC is buggy as hell. I’ve had to put it down and wait on a an inevitable patch because I literally can’t finish the last trial.

From what I know about Hollywood’s long history of twin films (even tho this is tv) I fully expect another service to adapt The Mice Templar comics at the same time.

OK Mister Spielberg.

I just googled John Bubniak and Ben Jordan and there’s only a 3 year age difference between them. I’m not sure that one really even looks than much older than the other or why James is so hung up on it.

Doesn’t Sony already own the Funimation anime steaming service which is basically the most direct competition to Crunchyroll?

At Gov. Stitt’s announcement he still said he was not even considering a state-wide mask mandate. At least in OK though, cities are taking matters into their own hands. First Stillwater and Norman (homes of OSU and OU) mandated masks, then Tulsa did it yesterday, and OKC is voting on a mandate Friday.

Being gay is not a “sexual situation.” Kissing is no more a “sexual situation” between two woman than between a man and a woman. You can’t tell me opposite-gender characters don’t kiss ALL THE TIME in animation for children.

I have never seen this show so I don’t know why I read this article, but I’m more confused about whatever this show is than ever now.

this is the nerd version of a hamilton nolan yogurt rant

I mean, Sweet Tooth is a well-told story and beautifully drawn, but it’s also an absolutely, immensely depressing story.

Is that like an anti-competitive anti-trust violation or something?

Even AMC will have to close in places where they’re ordered to. I only live in a suburb of 120k people and all gyms, theatres including our AMC, and dining rooms are ordered closed.

My kid and I just got through a month of watching the entire series and watched the last one just last night. It was good; better than I expected. I have nothing to add; just bragging about watching a decade-plus-old tv show.

I actually kind of love that he just seems to make the most bonkers scripts he reads.

We’re 2/3 of the way through a rewatch of The Last Airbender on DVD box sets because the only place to steam them in the US is by paying $7/month to add “NickHits” to amazon Prime video.

I looked at my account and to change from my 16GB plan to an Unlimited plan I’d have to pay $17 more per month, so I’d be better off just paying Disney $6 per month myself. Oh well :(

I still can’t believe this was the hill the internet chose to die on
