Yeah the 10 million new Alexa devices sold last quarter are a sure sign of a dying fad

While impressive for a truck, it probably also costs 3x as much as your Malibu did. You can buy a lot of gas with $30,000.

Actually, I really like Prime’s offerings. They have tons of British TV and a great selection of films— it’s better for older and rare films and shows than Netflix. For me, the $10/month (paying $119/year for Prime) is worth it just for the Prime Video.

The US Navy, as part of its mission, ensures the freedom of passage of all sea lines of communication around the globe as these are critical to our national prosperity, and therefore national interest. The Navy routinely conducts “freedom of navigation” missions in international waters, testing illegal expansionist

“The FBI directed counsel to give control of the entire document production to the FBI, which was done. The FBI advised counsel that its review located numerous additional illegal images, which had apparently been sent to Infowars email addresses.”

There’s truly no macho arrogance quite like Argentine macho arrogance.

Me watching this: There’s the foul. Wait no there it is. Oh, I guess that’s the foul, but the wrong team? Oh no, I was wrong that’s the foul there clearly. Nope wrong again. Ahhh, finally...oh, no guess not. FINALLY!

Not when either scoreline isn’t a good indication of how the games flowed.

A team can be good enough to win La Liga easily and be inferior to a team that has 94 points in the Premier League.

It’s also possible that Liverpool is better both individually and as a collective.

Yep. I follow a lot of soccer nerds online, but from what I understand, Liverpool midfield doesn’t do ball progression in the final third any more and the shot production duties have been almost entirely ceded to TAA and Robbo.

There were Barca fans in the stands with 10+ minutes left CRYING. With plenty of time to score what would have been the winner. No belief. Just entitlement.

“That Barcelona, a very good team that nonetheless suffers from several glaring deficiencies, lost in the Champions League semifinals to Liverpool, one of only two truly great teams in Europe this season and probably the one best equipped to solve the particular problems this devilishly complicated tournament poses,

Anytime I hear Puyol’s name I can’t forget 2010. I’m a huge Germany fan and this was the nail in the coffin.

I would take all of Liverpool’s back 4 over Barca’s on a player-for-player basis. I would also take Liverpool’s middle 3 over Barca’s at least as a unit and quite possibly on an individual basis as well.  Keepers are about even.  Only the front 3 would see a big swap with Suarez and Messi coming in for Origi and

This team needs a Puyol in the biggest way.  Somebody to yell at everybody to get their act together probably would have been enough to see them through to the final.

The most off-putting thing about Barcelona isn’t their embarrassingly homerish media that likes to meddle with the personnel of other teams.

Watching the game, you can see Barca don’t have any leaders to calm the nerves in times of trouble. Messi is quiet as a church mouse (and always has been). Pique and Busquets don’t do the organizing of Puyol and Xavi. When the game started going tits up, there was nobody to refocus the group.
