Yes? I’m 800 hours deep into this game, I’m married, I own a house, I work 55 hours a week - at this point, I want to raid and play PVP. Sitting in/near Archon’s Forge and grinding the strike playlist waiting for higher LL drops goes out of style real quick.

I started at 317 from TTK. Did the main quest, the Gjallarhorn quest, the Khostov quest, and split the rest of the time between Archon’s Forge/that general patrol area and Crucible. I think I’m 338 now. Also cooked through a few faction rep packages. Just not having any luck.

I’ve put 12 hours into this expansion and I’m still less than 340 light. I love Destiny, but it still doesn’t respect my time. Back to Overwatch I go!

I think he means the progression. Personally, the game has become impossible for me to play since they restructured the functionality of light levels. Y1 I was able to bang out both raids and Skolas with no issues, but I never got to a high enough LL in Y2 to do King’s Fall. I know there are/were a ton of different

Diddy Kong Racing > Mario Kart

Yeah, no doubt. I got a pretty excellent roll on Tormond’s Bellows in the one of the early IB’s of TTK that I was content to run with for the entire expansion.

Could not agree more. I never beat KF because I could never string together that much free time for a full playthrough. Also never really had the desire for any of the raid weapons/ugly armor.

Initial reaction: THIS MIGHT BE THE THING THAT LETS ME TALK ABOUT DESTINY WITH MY WIFE!

I might be in a super minority here, but I’m actually relieved that it’s smaller than TTK. I never found it in me to do half the shit in the Dreadnaught or complete King’s Fall (weapons not worth it, ugly chitin armor). This looks like it’ll give me just enough fun chasing new gear/weapon rolls and a raid I might

No last gen shooters are Destiny.

Same! Feel like Destiny 2 is going to be what we all thought Vanilla Destiny was going to be.

Oh I didn’t know that! Neat. Had a blast doing 1v1's with some of my buddies last night. With respect to the balance patches - IMO, they haven’t really been all that necessary since TTK dropped. Sure, there will always be shoulder-charging shotgun heroes and Warlocks will always have an infuriatingly long melee

Ultimately, I think Destiny just ended up being an entirely different animal than what the folks at Bungie originally envisioned. When they give interviews, I’m always struck by how surprised they are by how compulsively (myself included) people play the game. I couldn’t be more excited to see how they take what

I don't think it's a coincidence that private matches were added as soon as support for last gen consoles was dropped.

Just dropped $3,500 a few months ago getting the 4K LG OLED 55" mounted on exposed brick (that TV is f*cking incredible, btw), but I only play games on my 27" 1080p Samsung monitor I bought 5 years ago. I got the new Xbox to see what 4K upscaling really looked like, and it was breathtaking but disorienting on such a

Every time I get a Zenyatta POTG, and angel gets its wings.

It’s been a long time since I played a game I didn’t like, but there are games I like that are just impossible for me to play. I picked up the Witcher 3, Arkham City, Dark Souls 3, Fallout 4 - all spectacular games that a younger me would have enjoyed beyond words. But now, being a married homeowner with a

Eyyyy but can we talk about what a monster my boy Zenny has become? I threw up a 20 kill/8k heal match on Anubis on console last night. Please and thank you.

Just as an aside - has anyone else noticed a significant increase in the time it takes to find matches since they’ve added the Skirmish pregame lobby? I play on Xbox One and PS4, it takes me several minutes to find a match now, a few times it’s been longer than 10 min. Just curious if it’s a me issue or something more
