I just turned 30, wife is 29, and we have over $200k in the bank (70% is in retirement accounts). We were both really fortunate to choose careers that had high income security and earning potential, but we live well below our means. We lived in a way shittier apartment than necessary for 5 years while I paid off $58k

Giggled.

I cancelled my preorder 3 days ago. Still feels like a great decision.

He was a fantastic dual threat QB during the Harbaugh days in San Fran and has multiple playoff wins - experience few current NFL QB’s can boast. The Houston offense in 2017 would be the best talent he has ever had around him, and they have a ridiculous defense. How could anyone not want to see that get a shot?

Bungie in the age of Destiny has always suffered from one thing and one thing only: truly awful communication. Every problem they have ever had with respect to the Destiny community stems from that. It is a fucking wonder they’ve kept the same people in those roles.

Has anyone actually considered the flip-side of this scenario? Sure, a bunch of white bread yuppies in the Midwest may no longer watch football, but how many people of the more liberal variety would watch to see Kaep get vengeance on the NFL surrounded by what very well could be the best talent of his career? I’d be

I finally walked away from that account when that year of PSN expired. You can find me under OhNohbody now. Totally worth it.

Man, can the NCAA just fuck right off already?

Wow that looks terrible. Why does the fate of humanity always have to be at stake? Can we not have the plot be just about survival and discovery?

Kirk, this is the best review for anything I have ever read. Ever. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it.

Hahahaha hahahahahaha. Excellent.

Hate to nitpick since the lore isn’t super clear - but there is some broad consensus that the Traveler actually tried to leave Earth when the Darkness came for it (like it did to the Fallen), but the warmind Rasputin attacked it, which forced it to remain on Earth and create the Ghosts.

The skill ceiling on Arcstrider was higher than all of the other subclasses, but good lord was it fun once I got the hang of it. 5 different attacks in one super? Yes please.

I play a lot of video games. My wife plays none. She was over the moon when I mentioned the Crash remaster, because her dad had it when they were kids and she LOVED those games. Naturally I had to order it, and we queued it up the day it came out.

The Captain America videos had me rolling. “So you’re in detention.”

The Schrute’s are excellent Plinko players.

I was only ever able to raid in D1 by using LFG, and if there is one thing I would bank on in Destiny, it’s the goodwill of the community. So many vibrant Sherpa communities evolved on the various LFG sites for D1, and I expect that to manifest even more strongly in guided games.

So what kind of new gameplay? I’d argue that all of the features they’re adding are significant improvements, despite being requested by the community. Also, 4 new planet areas that are all at least twice the size of D1 areas don’t count as new maps?

Can I honestly ask what it was that you were expecting?

Not for nothing, but they did say that the European Dead Zone was more than double the size of any area in D1. I’ll take quality of activities on those planets over quantity of planets any day.
