I don’t understand why someone would get the TX 500h instead of a Grand Highlander Hybrid, which also has “lose the will to live” levels of styling and excitement, and the cheap / hard plastic interior, but gets you there for a lot less cash.

I often say the E38 allowed me to send my daughter to college (which is actually giving myself too much credit). We would disassemble the replacement cupholder and replace only the damaged parts IIRC. But at least one time I had to do "the whole thing"....

These f30 in-dash pop-out cupholders were a joy as well. So shallow that anything you put in there was at serious risk when accelerating.

My nitpick is Uber/Lyft drivers who just stop at the pickup address. No pulling over. No pulling up to an open spot so traffic can flow. Just dead in their tracks in the middle of the street. Taxi drivers never do that.

Agreed, go find legal parking somewhere or make the homeowners let you park in their driveway.
