I would be less worried about the cost of the repairs, which are most likely covered by insurance, and more worried about the decrease in value due to the collision and repairs.

I drove into NYC this Saturday mid-day and it took 40 minutes to go 30 miles compared to an hour or more before the entry fee was enacted.  It only cost me an extra $6 over the previous toll (I come from NJ) and I was able to find free meterless street parking two blocks from the venue in Chelsea.

Aahh, good old speed holes.

This one also comes to mind:

Also, if you were so unfortunate to watch his speeches for the overflow crowds, you would have witnessed a brain dump from a senile old man. All I heard was mumble, mumble, mumble, Nancy Pelosi 10,000 troops, mumble, mumble, mumble. Nothing of substance, just a stream of consciousness while looking sidecocked at the

Everyone I know has a house and garage cluttered with crap. The kids have hundreds of toys, despite only 5% or less getting regular play and the adults have very gadget, gimmick, clothing garment, and tacky home decoration under the sun. Why the fuck are people paying $50k for insulated water cups when they have a

100% I am very excited about the advancements in the New Klasse models and will be paying close attention to the i3 and ix3. If I had to bite the bullet on a second EV right now, the i4 M50 would be a top contender but the next-gen cars will have significantly more range and performance.

I think something can be anonymous without looking generic.  Most modern Accords fit in that category and there are many others.

Agreed. The design is very non-polarizing so it certainly isn’t ugly but also isn’t appealing in any way. I would rather have weird looking car that is still unique and cool-looking (hence I have an iX sitting in my garage) over a generic car that gets lost in the crowd.

The 4-cylinder is fine for compacts like the Q5 and Macan but it is undersized for midsizers and above. Most people manage 30 mpg+ in their Q5s but I was barely able to top 28 mpg in my A7 after the battery was fully depleted. The turbo-6 likely would have topped 30 mpg.

I am ready to buy a second EV smaller than my iX and was optimistic about the Macan EV but after seeing one in person, it looked way too generic and with no traditional Porsche design details. The new design looks so bland and like all the other tall wagon EVs on the market from other makes. There is not much Porsche

Porsche and Audi already have some great MHEV and PHEV drivetrains in their portfolio. A 4 cylinder mild hybrid for the base, the 4-cylinder PHEV plant from the Q5e for the S and GTS, and the 6-cylinder plant from the Cayenne and Panamera would be an excellent fit for the Turbo.

Will definitely give that a shot. Thanks!

Good to know.  I am pretty ignorant to the hierarchy of Chinese cars.  All I know is I want a Great Wall Coolbear solely because of the name.

Yeah, who the hell is paying $85K for a Dodge that is neither a full-size, fully loaded pickup or a Viper? The only American car that can command a price like that is the Corvette which has spent decades of being a high-price halo car unlike Pony cars, which spent decades of being a reasonably priced family cars with p

Bland, generic looking crossover EV looks blander and more generic than ever.  Big surprise here.

I’ll give a BYD a shot the next time I am in Central or South America. I typically rent through Sixt and they tend to have Chinese cars in Central and SA but mostly Mercs and Bimmers in Europe.

But how does it all come together and does it come together in a way that will suit the NA car market which has significantly different demands from their domestic market. From my research and a week spent in a Geely Akzarra CUV rental, Chinese drivers spend significantly more time in their cars not driving, and using

My first car was a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix SE with the 3800 engine but I shared that with my dad as his bad weather car (his daily was a Miata). I went to university in a city and didn’t need a car for awhile and drove my parents’ cars when I went home to visit. In 2005, I finally bought my first car which was a brand

And most of them will depreciate.  Its not a sports car but still a performance car - the STi RA originally sold for $50K but now can be had for south of $30K and they only made 500 for the USA market.
