They are “Tech Nerds.”

I don’t have a tesla, but when I engage the cruise assist on my BMW where I can take my hands off the steering wheel (highways only), there is a very detailed disclaimer requiring me to pay attention to the road at all times. I certainly do that and am able to intervene when necessary.

1st Gear: I just leased my first BEV (BMW iX) after driving a PHEV for a few years and I don’t see myself going back to ICE cars for daily drivers. Sure, my fun and collectible cars will exclusively be ICE cars, preferably manually shifted, but you just cant beat the smoothness and ease of throttle input/power delivery

The only difference is that the home contractor doesn’t know what a contract is.

I have an E39 M5 and while it certainly feels somewhat large and heavy, the beauty of that car is that it shrinks in weight and size the more you push it. With that said, even the E39 is too big and heavy to be a legit track car, especially compared to the Subaru Legacy GTs I used to mod and track. Despite being down

I am a real estate investor and got into it by renting one-off condos to residential renters.  The lease I used was very neutral and fair but was very clear and comprehensive.   We never had any overly contentious conflicts with tenants but when something came up and we cited the lease for resolution guidance, it was

It looks like they took a CLE, removed the roof, and added their top of the line “go faster” upgrades.  Hopefully the modest power numbers means they are focusing on handling and feel over all-out speed.

It’s ok, I’m sure ASSad is happy enough in his new Lada.

The grand wagoneer is another horrible offender of this! The chrome looks particularly terrible with darker colors. The obsidian package on a black exterior is the least unattractive way to spec one of those monstrosities.

Assuming the maintenance was all performed by a good mechanic, this could be a nice price from me, although I would immediately remove the trunk subwoofers. I have a 2002 M5 with about 130K miles and would not hesitate to own one of these higher-mileage E39s so long as they have been well maintained. This car appears

I could get used to the side skirt accents, although I would personally rather have them be body colored. But when you add the rear pillar and roof rail accents, it looks more like a two-tone paint job and I have never been a big fan of those. The worst are high-end luxury cars, especially Maybachs and Rolls. I

That’s what I was thinking. All it needs is a set of chrome door “vents” to fully complete the Pep Boys look.

More like Grandmixer D.ST.

Wow, this looks great inside and out but they really need to black out all bright chrome trim that wraps around the car, namely the rear pillar accent that wraps around the front windscreen and roof rails and the side skirts and lower front/rear spoilers should be body-colored. I don’t mind some modest use of chrome

I don’t live in the area anymore and probably went under the bridge more times than riding on it (used to spend lots of time on my grandparents’ boat as a kid), but I spend lots of time driving in and through the Baltimore area and have noticed an increase in not only beltway traffic but also the level of aggressive

It was a fairly new car any my daily driver at the time so I had little interest in turning it into a shitbox with used parts. And I am glad I did because it held its value well when I went to sell it, only having lost about 40% of its value through five years and over 100K miles of driving.

I had a GV80 rental on a work trip and found it to be comfortable and more like a nicer Buick than anything else. This person likely got flak from their peers for not buying a “real” luxury car and “needed” to get into a Merc to prove them wrong.

With over 100 years of beautiful design details, the Jaguar designers ultimately went with a boring-looking Audi that has zero reference to its design heritage. That completely blows my mind. The only angle that looks good is from the top down. Despite falling behind other luxury brands in terms of innovation, tech, re
