If I am trying to load a G/O site on my work Surface, it completely bricks all the other applications.  Sure, the Surface is a piece of crap but it would be nice if they used a platform that doesn’t utilize most of the memory in this crapcan of a computer.

I’m all for trolling Musk but crushing one object with another object is NOT art.  It is an object sitting on top of a crushed object.

Up until 2016, I was able to keep my car payments under $350 per month and that includes a 2005 Legacy GT (purchased new) , a 2008 Legacy GT Spec.B (purchased CPO), and a 2014 IS350 F-Sport RWD (leased new). The auto loans were for 4 year terms with the lowest rates available at the time (0.9-2.9%, remember the good

I thought the same thing. Even a mild hybrid with a 48V alternator/generator would be a decent starting point.  My 2014 X5 has this type of mild hybrid setup so the tech has been around for quite some time.

I can get used to the design but can we all agree that illuminated grilles look incredibly tacky? When I see an i7 on the road with a bright white outline illuminating the grill, it looks more like some cheesy aftermarket kit and incredibly inelegant on a 6-figure vehicle.

Even if the Crosstrek had the FA20F under the hood, it doesn’t do anything for me. I love the Levorg and it would be great to have an unlifted sports wagon offering in the Impreza/WRX lineup.

Even my fairly new A7 (2021) has a slow keyboard response time and whatever Alexa-like search bot is completely worthless even when the car has a data connection and without the data connection (which costs $30ish per month, thanks Audi!), it is bricked.

Max speed on their 3 day traffic study was over 70 mph. The block isn’t even a quarter mile long with stop signs on each end.

Hear, hear!

My guess is that the owner of the camera has brought this curve to the attention of their local government who has either installed proper signage that is often ignored by many drivers due to ignorance and or lack of care, or completely ignored the request and left the corner without proper signage. There is a poorly

Just because it has heated seats doesn’t mean it is an expensive car. Most basic cars come with heated seats as does my 10 year old X5, which is worth about $17K. Is $17K too much for a car driven by a recent college grad?

I’m with you on that one. I had a 2005 Legacy GT with an automatic and within a few years, traded it in for a 2008 LGT spec.B with a 6MT. Aside from the Bilstein shocks/struts and 6MT, it also had an LSD and was significantly more capable on the track, with or without mods. When I sold the Spec.B, my next car was a

This! Both my daily drivers have this and it helps the OCD in me that MUST park in the direct center of the parking space lines.

I travel often for work and I like that I can get in any rental car, connect my phone to the car via apple car play, and instantly have a familiar nav interface with streaming music and carphone integration, all without having to learn how to use a new SatNav interface.

It was certainly the best looking third-gen body.  I wish they would bring back the hatch!  It might even look decent on the current model.

Maybe I am a boring automotive enthusiast but I would be happy if the roadster were just a well, balanced, dynamically engaging, and quick car that happened to be electric. There are so many ways to take advantage of the benefits of an electric drivetrain and chassis (low COG, the ability to place a different motor at

Came here to say the same thing. Even a 1st-gen Taurus can fly...

Or this:

I guess if you only want one car, a GT is fine enough, especially for pensioners. But prefer I prefer to split my driving into two cars: a practical and efficient, albeit not boring, car for everyday driving and a compromised, uncomfortable performance car for spirited weekend driving and errand running.

It seems like Merc is cannibalizing its own vehicles - I can’t figure out why they would offer both the SL and AMG GT other than the former having a convertible roof and looking less attractive.  They should really just make the AMG GT coupe and convertible.
