My wife planned a trip this coming weekend as our first adult trip in a long time and Vegas was on the short list of domestic locations since we hadn’t been in a long time. When I was planning the trip, I had no idea the Vegas Grand Prix was the same weekend but I am glad we dodged that bullet and wound up booking a

You are probably right. In my experience, when most bullies face resistance, they back off, or get their asses kicked. Most of these assholes are all bark and no bite but are used to having their way because they are rarely put in their own place.

That’s what I’m talkin about! It sounds like a great trip and way more interesting than another weekend in Vegas.

Aside from being an asshole, the politician sure has some balls. If this was back in the nineties, talking to a teamster boss like likely would result in a “mysterious disappearance,” followed by a mysterious reappearance floating face down in the Hackensack river.

The last time I was there was maybe 7-8 years ago so I guess a lot has changed. We stayed in the Venetian for under $150 per night and most other 5-star casino hotels were well under $200 per night. Food and drink pricing was on par with where I live, although I live in a high cost-of-living area. The shows were

I figured there was a reason like that.

I can assure you the horse is just fine now and is experiencing neither pain nor emotional distress...

Why not eliminate the warning and start with the fine as the first step and suspension as the second step. This isn’t an innocuous mod like a fart-can muffler causing excess noise, it is something that significantly compromises the drivability of and visibility form the vehicle and significantly increases the danger

I was thinking the same thing. I would love to someday go see an F1 event but if I am going to spend $10K+ for a weekend, it better be a historic, iconic, place like Monaco and not the place I can go to for a cheap getaway any other time of year.

For me, it pretty much started when I was a teenager and before becoming an actual car buyer. I remember going to an Acura dealership with my dad to look at a 2.5TL for my mom around the same time I was getting ready to get my drivers license. I of course knew everything about the Integra inside and out, having read

I wound up going in a completely different direction and bought an E39 M5 back before the pandemic when prices shot up. It was very fun to restore and I love driving it but it’s a bit too heavy to be a weekend fun car and I am reluctant . Now that I have two other practical daily drivers, I am getting the itch to sell

Despite being great cars (and having wonderful engine sounds), these have gotten cheap, especially the higher-mileage and clapped out ones. That of course means easy access to lots of power potentially in the hands of less experienced, mature, and/or and capable drivers. A few years ago, I came close to getting a

I own a lovely Omega watch that was not cheap but a fraction of the cost of a Platinum Rolex and when I bring it on trips, it’s on my carry-on or wrist. I could never fathom putting anything of value in a checked bag.

Or hoping that their 160 lbs saint Bernard will fit in their individual footwell.

For me, its always a battle between wanting to sleep/see outside (window advantage) and needing to access my overhead luggage or pee during the flight (aisle advantage). I usually go window for morning flights so I can get some sleep in and aisle for afternoon/evening flights most likely because I threw back a few

It certainly didn’t help that Mick was in his mid 80's working mom phase and Bowie was still dressing like a clown.

The only thing that makes the song worse is the ridiculous music video.  I love Bowie.  I love Jagger.  But they must have been whacked out beyond oblivion when putting this mess together.

Same on both for me.  It only takes a few extra minutes to set up the jack and wheel ramps and take them down and it’s worth the extra redundency.

I feel like there is so much buzz about this car amongst tech enthusiasts who don’t care about the things that bother automotive, engineering, and mechanic enthusiasts (and probably ordinary consumers as well) that they just slapped the film on the car to make it seem like its almost ready for prime time.

They want to keep their client base happy by keeping demand and pricing high for not only their new vehicles but also vehicle resale pricing. Many traditional ultra high-end buyers care about the investment as much as image, performance, etc. Two other brands that are good examples of this are Rolex and Hermes. Go
