Amidst all the pessimism, let me be one to say Woo!! Finally!

Depends on your perspective...

Can we get a hybrid of this to replace the gf’s Prius C?

Pontiac Vibe? It’s little brother?

Wow I’ve never even heard of that.

Overhyped, maybe. But I think a lot of what Pokemon Go brought (whether it intended or not) was not necessarily a revolution in gaming - although it is quite unique - but a massive pop culture injection.

I just double checked my email and it never specifies which policy it is from - auto, rental, both...

+1 (your and Arnheim’s comments)

Just as food for thought... I got my first distribution/dividend from my 2016 USAA auto + renters policy last week: $1.50

That was just from your auto policy?

Because of your argument - slightly stronger than your counter - I agree that an elevator can be considered a vehicle.

In case you were wondering, I actually asked a very good source (in the business) this today - how long does it turn a profit on a new auto policy -and the answer I got was actually 3.5 years. Not necessarily the same for all companies as the more efficient ones should have lower operating expenses.

Easy for you to say, but consider the guy who crashes his brand new car a week, a month, three months, after buying and insuring it. The insurance company already spent X dollars marketing and selling to this guy and he’s just costed them $50,000 in a week.

For anybody else looking at this - I can also attest to the turth about insurance companies not making money up front for a considerable period of time. A year sounds about right but don’t quote me.

Second this.

There’s some products where there’s just SO many (5 star) reviews that it’s very difficult to actually compare. Especially because most of these products (like VR sets) are cheap and very similar.

Wtf. Why did they recommend a brand new Cadillac hearse for me??

Like I said to the other comment similar to yours, I’m not suggesting that’s any better (or LastPass is anything less than amazing). I’m just suggesting it could have been a rationale used by upper management to make such a decision. It’s easy to get disconnected from reality and forget about the normal folk and what

I’m not saying it’s worse - I’m just saying that that could have very well been the rationale of upper management in making such a decision.

Duo? Never heard of that.
