I'd expect a racist to say something like that.

No humorless, just not funny.

This is what happens when internet feminists attempt humor.

Well, the most vocal PR agents of feminism have been people like Dworkin and Lindy West - so it's not terribly surprising that most people view self-labeled feminists as fat, ugly, man-hating shrikes.

We all didn't just come into existence with a deep understanding of feminism and what it truly means.

Weird eyebrows, but yeah she's pretty banging.

Look at you, making sense and shit. Unfortunately, I don't think this is a topic on which the commentariat can engage the logic centers of their brains.

She is like a hyperbolic parody of a golddigging famewhore.

Daaaaaw, somebody is using made up words and needs a big ol' hug. C'mere you!

Sure, culture changes. Usually in manners designed to harness or curtail our basic biological drives (religions, monogamy, etc.). But that doesn't change the fact that most of it is just a reflection or extension of those same drives.

Culture is the tail wagged by the dog biology.

Probably the kid playing Havoc. Or Beast.

I made no such claim. You are mistaking a claim about how the world should be with a an observation about how it is. Empirically, human beings behave in ways that reflect an evolved behavior to value women's lives over men's. This isn't terribly surprising, given how different our reproductive functions are.

I'm just going to let you simmer for a minute and think about the difference between my statement and your hypothetical, because they are not equivalent.

Women are perishable, men are expendable.

Maybe the ones around you do because you have a shitty personality?

Nah, we're busy worrying about a jealous old man who said some bad words.

All gothic horror (from the actual era) is public domain now. It's all pre 1923.

You forget: steady job, steady paycheck, steady shooting schedule, steady location (even if filmed far away like GOT, the cast basically lives on location for 6 months and the core cast certainly have homes there).

She was a squirter too, so I was continually amazed she didn't pass out from dehydration. You are not alone ;)
