When is the 1.21 gigawatt battery pack coming?  He must have hidden the flux capacitor behind the iPad.  I can’t wait to get that thing to 88mph and see it show up in it’s correct time period.

Just because KBB or NADA say it’s a high price doesn’t make it a CP. This is an ultra clean, low mileage, manual, 4x4 for very little money. I say NP even at $5k.

Ditto. I’m in SC and tempted to hop on I95 to check it out. My son is in need of his first ride and this checks all the boxes.

That’s O.K. I like this one better:

Neutral: I’ve thought much the same about corporations for my adult life, after spending summers with grandparents whose life savings were in old-world stocks that grew slowly over time but received dividend income.

I did the same. Had an ‘84 F150 4x4 single-cab, short-bed, 4-speed. Very basic truck. Clutch gave out and it sat in my back yard for 5 years before I finally caved and donated it to Cars-for-Kids.  I’m really kicking myself now that my 15 year-old is about to start driving.

The only problem with Icon/Himalaya/Singer is that it helps drive prices up on used vehicles in decent condition that would otherwise be obtainable.  This trend even makes non-classics become suddenly in demand.  The Porsche trend is a good example.  5 years ago you could purchase a 997 turbo for between $40k-$50k.

This may be to make a point how Apple licenses CarPlay. Apple is notorious for doing mandatory firmware updates on their devices that make accessories useless.

Is Lifehacker going to allow Kinja deals that redirect to Amazon those 2 days?

My vehicles only get recalls fixed if the dealership notifies me or I get a letter in the mail. When buying from a dealer, I ask about open recalls but don’t make a big stink about having them fixed ahead of time. At least then I know what needs to be done, free of charge.

With all this glass on the hood and trunk, this will be the view from the driver’s seat for you and all other nearby cars.

In insurance’s eyes, aren’t deaths less expensive than dealing with long term health issues from broken legs and damaged spines? These issues lead to hundreds of thousands of dollars over time.

I generally don’t buy Gen1 anything, much less something this forward thinking.  It’s already had a drive motor replaced, which I’m sure isn’t cheap.  Its battery will require an extremely expensive replacement somewhere down the road.  My Computer Engineering friend has a quote he’s kept since he heard it in college

This should be MANDATORY questions on all driver’s tests and require annual refresher courses. Eliminate this attitude of “I paid my taxes to use this road and any lane I chose.” Also, teach NJ drivers they can turn off their left turn signal after they’ve been in the left lane by themselves for the past 12 miles and

It totally depends on the type of lien. Is it for the seller’s original purchase? If so, no big deal. There are fairly simple ways to handle this.

Granted this is an old article, but I don’t think much has changed since it was published. The Washington Post estimates a NYC taxi driver makes $30,000/yr in 2014 (salary.com estimates $35k-$52k currently). That’s hardly a living wage in NYC. Uber drivers were making 3 times that at $91,000/yr in 2014. The goal of

I cannot stand touch screens. It’s gotta be physical buttons. Even with iDrive knobs, you have to take your eyes off the road to navigate the menus. As an Industrial Engineer, being able to memorize the locations of ergonomically designed controls makes navigating those functions much safer. Steering wheel controls

I had a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix with all the bells and whistles many years ago. It had an ID-10-T buzzer if the turn signal was left on too long.  I found this out by pulling in front of a slow BMW from NJ that had been riding in the left lane for 5 miles with his left turn signal on. Tell me why a Pontiac has that

And yet, there are 2 in my company’s parking lot right now. Granted, they’re the shittiest version. But, they’re here!

Drones are only as good as the network they operate on. Given our track record in domestic network protection, I’d rather keep pilots in the aircraft. It reminds me of the reboot of Battlestar Galactica. The Cylons disabled the good guys’ craft and had their way. The about-to-be retired Galactica, with its old isolated
