The Christmas special was a perfect wrap up as it delivered the pay-off for the Tim and Dawn storyline and also gave Brent the opportunity to stand up to Finchy and show that he had outgrown his previous self.  In many ways it’s a shame he felt compelled to do the Brent movie and take the character back to square one.

I still love that show unreservedly. The first ten episodes or so are maybe my favorite run of episodes of any TV show ever.

One of THE great TV love stories - beautifully done.

She is absolutely delightful.

Me too. I’ll probably bookmark it. How great to read something so positive, where the actor absolutely loves and has had so much fun in everything she’s be in.

That’s not even luke warm, that’s just fact.

Office Xmas Special makes me cry every damn time!! When she opens that present from Tim and... Shit I got something in my eye.

Studio 60 deserved a lot more than one series, it was a pretty great TV show and Lucy was great in it, shame how these things shake out some times.

luke warm take

I’m not sold on the premise but Girls is one of my favorite shows. So I guess — much to the horror of like everyone here and on Jezebel too, lol — I’ll be giving Camping a try.

Diet Coke is an acquired taste, but once you acquire it, it’s like crack. I actually enjoy all the new flavors. Especially feisty cherry.

I love diet coke - probably over regular, even. I have only tried the cherry and thought it was a fun time, and have eyed the others, though ginger isn’t a favorite of mine and the mango looks dicey. I was gonna give the orange a go, though!

Were either given an official position as an advisor to their dad?

I would have thought the article made no sense. I mean Obama’s oldest daughter wasn’t even born yet when Cobain died. Now we are supposed to believe a baby dyed her hair blue? The whole story would fall apart.

In 20 years if Sasha Obama is an advisor to a president and wants to lie about her youth, she should be held to account too.

I’m as law-abiding as it gets, and I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida, so I’ve lived through plenty of storms.

Like old Toohotformilk there, I’ve also lived through plenty of hurricanes. When you’ve been through enough, you stop worrying about them and you don’t prepare like it’s your first time - you get some water and plywood the windows and hunker down. My dad, who’s in his 70's and has ridden out every hurricane that’s

He didn’t refuse her service based on gender. NOTHING in this article is any kind of evidence of that. All it demonstrates is an insecurity, and a programmed victim mentality, where the author fantasizes that everyone who doesn’t act the way she wants is somehow “oppressing” her.

The problem I have with this is that she is attempting to “shame” or be a jerk about other tattoos Dan has done. They aren’t on necks or hands. They are done well. So what is your issue? You are just going to have a fit and “shame” someone because you didn’t get what you wanted? That’s not cool. It’s just tacky.

It looks like a 21st century Sgt. Peppers cover. "I get sad with a little help from my mannequins."
