I think it may be a rowing term, for golf it is more commonly "in the rough". Getting your oar stuck in weeds is something rowers would dread, and if you panic you make it worse. You have to slow down to extricate yourself.

We used to have fun with coming up with alternatives for the "camping" term. "marinating" and "decomposing" were my favorites.

It's blatant medical malpractice because the company switched up the sperm vials. Do you really not want the company held accountable because they fucked up at their job?

I think it's sue-worthy without the race issue involved. You can't run a business like a sperm bank and go mixing vials up. Fuck them! How hard is it to match a vial sticker with a number and place it with the right people? Give me a break.

Not at my No Frills! That said, you may very well be right in the larger context. Pardon my ignorance, thanks for the correction.

If she's suing for the funds it will take to relocate her family and keep them afloat until new jobs are found, I'll allow it. That seems like an expense that is necessary for this child's well-being that would not have been necessary but for the mixup. If she's suing for emotional distress, she can get bent.

I hope this doesn't impact the Food Network using redskin potatoes.

I feel like this walks a very thin line between sex positive and being sex pushy.

I want to see a logic tree that explains how teaching people to have threesomes will decrease rape.

Dearest Snowflake,

Way to take it personally. Relying on family is fine. No, I mean going to fashion school at 28 while you live with your parents AND getting a DUI is a sad cocktail. She is obviously not benefitting from the help she's getting from her family.

The difference, though, is that for someone who ostensibly was well-compensated as a working actor for much of her youth, to be "depending on the kindness of family" is sad turn of events. (it isn't about you).

:c noooo I was so rooting for her...

So out of my med school class, we had exactly ONE guy go into OB/GYN and it was because his father and grandfather were both obstetricians.

Why are we such dicks about this? We all whore ourselves out. Some of us literally because we get paid to have sex. Some of us figuratively, as we spend our time at a job we hate because of the paycheck and benefits.

The best color for this is the one where you exit that website and don't buy that awfully unflattering sweater. Embossed wild flowers barely look good on a carpet, you don't want it all over your chest.

Sweatshirts? For fall? GROUNDBREAKING

I read the headline and thought they dressed up like Al Capone and the like and thought, "Well, what's the big deal?"

Confession: my sorority has Taco Tuesday as well. We...umm...just ate tacos and bitched about how expensive iuds were.
