I only offer to split the check 50/50 when my order costs less than everyone else. If I ordered way more than others, I’m always going to pay at least my share, unless they tell me not to be silly and just split it. It usually evens out in the end.

I think by then I was more into reading books than playing with toys by age 10-11. I checked out 25 books a week from the library (that was the weekly limit the library set) and I read them ALL.

My 9 year old sister wanted one, but we talked her into a knock-off. If she was 6 and wanted one, sure, but at 9, she’s about to outgrow dolls anyway. (I outgrew them about that time, at least.)

You know, some mornings on my commute, I could swear the Starbucks baristas gave me decaf instead of regular. That’s like, the worst thing you could possibly do, ever.

Honestly, those all-inclusive venues are the way to go! You save so much money and a giant headache. I know they aren’t the popular thing right now, but there’s a lot of nice places out there.

You can get lovely dresses for under 1500. Maggie Sottero makes great dresses for about that price point. There’s also Alfred Angelo, too, if the idea of David’s makes you shudder.
