Frozen yogurt, as you know, is worse ice cream. It’s a dessert that could (maybe) be healthy in theory. In practice it is as bad for you as a bowl of french fries with chocolate syrup drizzled on top.

Considering that restaurants will take like, 50% off your bill if you have to wait awhile and don’t even complain, I would have raised HELL about this. Fuck 10%. They ruined your outfit.

I was confused too, because I was like, “That guy was not in the Dirty Dozen...”

Um, what damage exactly is being done?

It definitely helps with posture!!

She has a permanent hourglass figure, as a size 18, and she can tightlace from a 41” waistline to a 30” waistline.

I do believe whalebone was commonly used in corsets during Elizabeth I’s reign. I can’t recall the princess/queen, but there was one that dictated that her ladies-in-waiting waistline measurement not exceed their age. This was what my friend read about that inspired her to do waist training.

EDIT: I believe it was

Well there is Spanx for men, and honestly, these are on the same level as Spanx. It’s not really a waist trainer.

Yeah, waist training means wearing an actual corset for 23 hours a day. My best friend did this starting at, like 15, after she read about/researched waist training in the Renaissance. She thought it would be cool, so she did it.

I don’t see waist trainers/girdles/corsets as any more oppressive/different than getting, say, plastic surgery, hair extensions, or tattoos. But the reasons you do wear a waist trainer/corset should be for your own happiness, not because society or someone else wants you to do it.

OMG I thought that too. :( Now I refuse to read the “bad boy” romance novels. A slightly rakish one is fine, but otherwise, I like the nice guys.

I was just coming down here to mention the Thoene novels. I read all of them as a teenager and they are the WORST, in retrospect.

My best friend’s aunt was married at 15, in the 60’s. They lived in Los Angeles, and they had to go to Arizona to get married. Apparently the two were just so in love they had to get married. I think the guy was in his early 20’s though.

So, this actually happens in the United States too, in some homeschooling sects.

This would explain why a cafe au lait is called a cafe misto at Starbucks. It’s coffee and milk!!! Why the hell would you change the name?!?!

No, I’m the same. I very much dislike hard crunchy stuff in my ice cream. I like fruit and occasionally sprinkles (the soft jimmie kind).

The ONLY thing I’ll get at Cold Stone is their Sweet Cream ice cream, with no mix ins. It’s amaaaaazing.

That’s my guess too.

One of my friends has a daughter who is very allergic to blue dye. It’s a thing...

My roommate and I drank tequila and watched every single episode on Saturday night. I was very impressed and thought it was super funny.
