That does sound excessive for a flower pot. But you see FFXV’s characters now who have 200,000 polygons. That’s a pretty decent leap. And XIII’s characters had 20,000 polys. And that isn’t impossible for an MMO now. Have you seen Black Desert Online? That game is absolutely gorgeous.

To be fair though, the engine was not the greatest, and it was probably unoptimized beyond all belief. From what I’ve heard it was almost like a Beta or even Alpha.
