You're thinking of the bronco sport.

The racing is part of it, sure, but that’s really just a component of the *story*. Can you name a modern car that has as much name recognition or golden light shooting out of it as the McLaren F1 or the Mercedes GLK? Take the McLaren F1. It was the first hyper-GT, the ultimate driver’s car, and very specifically

The manufacturers aren’t really seeing a benefit from these sale prices, though. Mercedes got its money when it sold the car in 1998. The 8-10 million that this car is expected to sell for only benefits the the soon-to-be-previous owner.

Porsche Entry & Drive was available on 991s and has a dummy “key” looking thing where normally you would insert your fob. It wasn’t super popular (you hardly ever see it outside of Turbo and GTS models) but there’s plenty that have it.

FORScan is free!

Not only that, but when the raw footage showed he was going 130, his speed relative to surrounding traffic only looked like he was going about 20 or 25 mph faster. So I would put him at 95 to 100.

Any BMW fans know what model it was? In some quick google searches most BMWs are limited to around 120-140 mph. The only one with a top speed near the 160 is an M5.

I think I’m in the minority, but I think the stewards got it right. Hamilton made a desperate move and it didn’t work, so he got a penalty. A harsher penalty than we’ve seen from the other 3 similar incidents from the last race. Hamilton just happened to be in the fastest car and Bottas/Mercedes were able to get him

Exactly.

Erik, it was a racing incident, pure and simple. Neither driver was about to yield the race to the other right then. Both drivers were going for the same thing and hoping that the other would bail out.

Dodge does a pretty good job of designing for continual high power use. I have done track weekends in my Viper on 100+ degree days and 20 minute sessions and never had the temp rise much over 210, and I’m one of the fastest gen 3s that has run the track I’m on, so I’m not just Sunday driving it. It’s even got a little

Well, at least we have this small consolation: No English F1 fan can ever say again that Damon Hill was robbed of the 1994 F1 Championship.

The product is a lie, the headline referring to it is not. The subhead and article also clarify this so you’re putting the intent in the wrong place.

If it should last as long as an M4 or a GT3, it should cost about the same right?

GT350R was benchmarked on the GT3.

I don’t know about anyone else’s experience, but all the track days I’ve been to have been at most 4-5 20 min sessions. Unless all these guys are racing in 100+ degree heat I’m kinda surprised to hear about a factory performance car that can’t handle that. IIRC the last Corvette Z06 had overheating problems on the

The whole thing will hinge on a single word. If they had said “track performance” rather than “track ready” this probably wouldn’t be happening.

Even that is a pretty tough argument to make in court. Even if they did “benchamark it” that doesn’t mean it has to match those cars in every possible metric including duration of trackability
