Could it be that many Jalopnik commenters hate everything?

Are you trying to tell me “Should Max Verstappen Just Crash Into Lewis Hamilton” is a non-joke article? Come on, man. I know this isn’t the New York Times, but the quality of writing on this site has taken a nosedive in the last year. I wish the good writers here would just go to Defector and start a sub-site.

Okay, how about this? - https://jalopnik.com/should-max-verstappen-just-crash-into-lewis-hamilton-to-1848181181

Maybe

Where do we begin with how incredibly dangerous, stupid and illegal this was.

As much as I agree w your statement, The Plaid edition was supposed to be built for track days. If people were complaining about the brakes on the standard S, that’d be one thing, but the whole point of this version was to build the fastest sedan they could. If they didn’t upgrade the brakes as much as they upgraded

Gotta disagree here. It’s British Racing Green w/a Camel (or whatever the names are this month) Tan interior, or why even bother?

Coming 2nd in your third F2 season is an impressive achievement... but it’s not impressive enough to suggest a glittering F1 career.

He’s not. He was outscored by Mazepin and Tsunoda. But what he does have is approximately $30 million in sponsorship money.

Yep, spending 3 years in F2 and not absolutely dominating by the end is typically a red flag for viability as an F1 driver

Counterpoint: Far Cry’s still fun, and honestly doesn’t need much changing. Maybe some better writing. It’s the video game equivalent of comfort food, I’ve enjoyed every one to date (except 6, haven’t gotten my hands on it yet).

I saw that live as well. I cut it into a 3 minute clip to use in my senior presentation the following year. Some of the most gripping racing I’ve seen in the past decade or so that I’ve been into motorsport.

911s (the car, not the #) have a “safety” mechanism that will automatically turn your hazards on in the event of hard braking. I went to a casual auto-x event and thought I was having an electrical issue.

No, the people with surfboards are parking there to go surfing across the street at Malibu Point when the Lagoon parking lot is full. The car enthusiasts generally are eating coffee/breakfast at Bill’s or one of the other restaurants there.

You’re assuming that the car enthusiasts aren’t patronizing the shops there, which is a weird assumption since the whole thing started as people meeting up with their cool cars to drink coffee and get breakfast.

“I don’t know the details but I’m sure the driver was an attempted murderer in this situation”.

Training for death, obviously.

And the super-complicated turbo-hybrid engine has a lot of heavy components to package.

Stolen from an Instagram comment I saw earlier:

“It’s rights out and away we go!”

Exactly. This isnt an electrical car issue, its a modern car issue.

Several recent BMW products require you to jack up the vehicle(F10 chassis for example), remove under paneling and turn a bolt on the side of the transmission to engage neutral override for towing. Even for ICE cars, its not always easy...
