Please, can we stop with this. It’s so arrogant and trashy to say “we have it worse all the time!1!!” We’re all fucked.

Well, duh. Of course hardwoods don’t go in a damp basement, and of course there is a time and place for vinyl plank. What I object to is classifying it as a luxury product. You’re over here saying, “oh it’s great in a basement near a sump pump.” That hardly screams luxury item to me. It’s a good product for that…
Luxury vinyl plank is one of those terms that make me roll my eyes. The words “luxury” and “vinyl plank” do not belong together. When I see LVP in a real estate listing, it just makes me think that the house is a flip or that the reno valued cheapness rather than quality/longevity.
Siphon!
I really appreciate the cardinal directions in the roll cut description in lieu of a video. That helps a lot with the visualization.
I’m still mad about the lack of a real fingerprint sensor. The under-screen one still sucks and so does their face unlock.
Has Elon replied to your DMs yet?
Um, “recall” is still the officially correct word. It’s the current legal term for OTA updates issued by regulatory violations. You’re the one who’s wrong.

WTF has been on far longer than Rogan and well.... doesn’t feature Joe Rogan.
Some of these might be convenient, but generates unnecessary waste. Wipe down plants with a lightly damp sponge. Knock down those cobwebs with a broom and sweep up. Like under 5 extra minutes and you’re not throwing a “disposable” Swiffer pad away. Wrap fragile items in bedding or clothing.
If you can get the 30 (or 40) year loan for a lower rate than the 15 year, take it and pay it off at a 15 year rate when you can. You’ll have lower payments, which is nice if you have a setback.
I’m going to do the exact opposite: encourage people to rent as cheaply as they can, as long as they can, until they need to expand their footprint. If you’re going to have kids, or you finally settle into your mid-career, then get a house. Don’t try to cram your family into an apartment if you don’t have to, but you…
I would be melting at 72F. Out of curiosity, where do you live? In the winter I prefer 65F but I’m married so my husband sets it at 68F and I accept it to keep the peace. At night he steals the covers from me and I’ve learned to be comfortable sleeping in cooler temperatures with limited resources.
I so deeply hope I get to see this company go under during my lifetime.
Facebook, soon to be joining MySpace and Friendster.
LOL @ THE PRICE. It’s a portion of a bike. You can get a full exercise bike for less. It does not need to cost this much. You like overpaying for stuff? Go for it. I can think the price is too high. Get over it. You say I should grow up, yet you’re the one passionately arguing with someone over an LOL.

That’s it. I’m done with Lifehacker. I’ve been reading the site since it started in 2005. It’s one of the RSS feeds I check every day. No more.
Stop it with Apple. What’s wrong with Android? Not everyone likes Apple. The only good Android tablet is a Samsung
The one thing I have to say about these fountains - you do need to make sure you are keeping them clean. The large, opaque container with essentially a lid can make it easy to ignore (and just pour water into without inspecting). When I was using just a bowl, it got cleaned daily. But gunk will grow in these fountains…
