48k cash every three years... As in BOUGHT a brand new one (not leased, I'm trying to follow you) every three years? Did this person sell the last one or just let it roll off a cliff? I'm having a tough time with the point here, but then it is 1:30 in the morning and I'm on la toilette.

Man oh man that gets my blood moving

Passed by Casa Tracy yesterday and did my best to explain to my wife how we were passing the home of some serious greatness. And she did her best to act impressed. But I'm always excited when I pass TracyJeepHQ. It's like a Hollywood 'tour of the stars' right here in Metro Detroit! Keep up the great work, DT!

Exactly. For someone like me, also, who'd be relying on shops to do the work, by the time this was done I'd be crying about why didn't I just pop for a good one in the first damn place.

Thats kind of what I was thinking

That was my last... Well, all my yearly reviews. This one better than the last (‘we want you to be honest’ never means that... Lesson learned) but still.

I thought the same. Keep the hardtop in the deal and we can talk.

...and I cannot imagine a single neighborhood around me where I could drive this POS and NOT hear '...the f*ck is that?' as I passed by. Which I think is a testament to Metro Detroit people.

If you have it all, how could this ever be your 'icing on the cake'? I feel like this would be an 'oopsy' late night eBay motors purchase at 10% of the price. But the listing price is absurd. How could anyone ever get 30k of enjoyment out of this mess?

I didn’t vote because I wouldn’t pay $1 for this monstrosity. I don’t think there’s a car that would appeal LESS to me. I’d rather have the beat-to-sh*t Dodge Caravan the collision shop gave me to drive while they did rust and restoration work on my old (since totalled, thanks

I am sitting here thinking and cannot think of who the target audience could possibly be for this car at that price. It's not even a goofy car that someone would buy to be ironic. I have no clue who would come up with 10k for this.

What's wrong with using a 55 year old vehicle gently? I would think it would be silly to off-road something like this.

This listing is a 'shut up and take my money' ALL day long. What a treat it would be as a daily driver for a few years!! NP!!

I love appliances like these. I have a real fascination for stuff like this. I think my wife would prefer I spent more time looking at porn and less time looking at Fieros and old appliances.

What does this have to do with anything?

Nothing wrong with that. Otherwise, no one would have held on to Beetles, 914s, 1970 Dodge Darts, etc... And aren't we glad they're not gone?

This is correct, and I have a recent interest in these. I would be interested at 4k but I just have too many more options at this price, especially given that there are some unknowns here. I don't have the money to roll the dice at this price. I could see rolling the dice under 5k. Too bad, but I think the only ones

I thought it made sense until I read the guy’s comment who was saying how even though these had a lot in common with Honda/Acura, the replacement parts are just not available. What’s the point? So you drive your awesome 11k ‘find’ until one thing definitely goes wrong and then it’s totaled? I think it sucks that you

This is the correct answer. I hate these. I also hate the Evoque convertible which I'm stuck seeing from time to time in hoity-toity Birmingham, MI, where I work. Home of fancy-pants cars, cars that cost wayyyy more than they should (it's the only place I see Buick Cascadas), you know, all of that. It's always worth

Love these, and love the LeCar. Inexicably remember seeing a handful around when I was a kid. There was a Fuego in my neighborhood that never moved. I don’t have the 9k for this at the moment (meaning I don't have 9k to torch) and know it would be dead in the water before long due to unobtainable parts, but I wish I
