Far be it from me to argue with you, Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior...

Yes, it's transparently obvious how they love to attack Republicans on Kotaku, but if they mention anything about democrats, it's almost always positive or more neutral.

I won't debate this issue with you. All you have to do is a little historical research and you'll find that this new "militia" argument was never a part of the original understanding of the Constitution, and was artificially created in the last few decades by anti-gun advocates.

Please stop being so transparently anti-gun. Your political position on firearms here on Kotaku is so pathetically obvious, it's shameful for any website professing any degree of journalism.

There was a new law recently passed that eliminated the default "search incident to arrest" of a vehicle, meaning that unless they find something directly relevant to the reason you were arrested, an "inventory" of your vehicle succeeding an arrest cannot yield evidence against you.

This is one of those "Book Parents" things. Some of these alternative sound downright stupid, especially using the word "retaliate" with young children. It's not specific wording that really matters that much. There are countless ways to be a good parent, and not all of them achieve the same goals.

I was staring at the picture wondering why they used テ in front of 郵便局, and then after reading the article it immediately struck me that I guess テ does look similar to the character for the post office. That's something I never thought of.

Anyone know of a browser extension to reduce the size of these ridiculously huge photos on the new Kotaku? I can't see anything but a giant photo taking up my entire laptop screen.

This whole system is terrible. Kotaku's been using it, and I've absolutely hated it.

Please don't misunderstand. We distrust the government not because it's a fad, but because of the history of hundreds of governments over thousands of years showing a tendency to grow larger, centralize power into the hands of a few, and continually restrict the rights/freedoms of the people.

People had a LOT of reasons to mistrust their government long before the Bush years. The US govt's primary purpose is to preserve the Constitutional rights of the people living within its domain. As history has shown time and time again through hundreds of governments over thousands of years, governments have a

You misunderstand the purpose of the ESRB. It is *NOT* designed to prevent gamers under the recommended age from playing games. It *IS* designed to inform the public of the recommended age for a game.

Many routers have notches for hanging them on nails or other hooks, though usually it requires a screw or nail with an appropriately sized head.

Another case of big business in bed with big government. Socialists, take note please. This is just another example of how govt regulation can screw us all over.

Micro-managing is a huge problem in all sorts of areas of life. Public and private sector employers alike suffer from this major problem. There is this constant, steady trend toward shifting decision-making power higher and higher, and constantly double-checking and over-the-shoulder management of lower level decision

And yet one more reason not to give "pity money" to people you don't know personally. As a law enforcement officer, I would interact with a lot of those people who you see standing at the off-ramps of highways begging for money. On one occasion, a gentlemen doing that was violating the law in another way, and upon

While I don't think they need to be basing so much on Metacritic scores, I agree that Obsidian did not deserve a bonus for New Vegas.

Well, I'm glad that I don't have to consider Toki Towa. I was looking at it, thinking of even importing it. Glad I didn't.

The simplest answer for the vast majority of situations is a strong "No, it's not worth it." You're far better off in terms of cost/benefit going with a single, more powerful card.
