I wonder if this disaster in Always-Online DRM could have been predicted? If only we had a recent PC game release that suffered the same terrible fate of constant server-issues preventing paying customers from playing... then we could have seen this coming.
Correct on the router issue, which is why I would find it odd to lose strength suddenly.
This looks promising considering who's making it. Tabula Rasa didn't work out, but I'd love to see another great "Ultima" single player game. Give me another great isometric party-based RPG and I'd be happy, to be honest.
I'm sure it isn't natural interference, being that it worked flawlessly one day and the next day the area was a dead zone. Even if some new device was introduced by a neighbor, who is not terribly close to my house, it shouldn't cause a complete dead zone.
Which brings me to the question — why then use the phone? I'm not carrying a USB controller around with me everywhere I go, and if I have access to one I'm at home, so why don't I just play an emulator on my computer or Nintendo Wii, where I can enjoy a much larger screen?
I'd love to put this on my Android phone, if it weren't for the fact that I can't stand on-screen "controllers." I just can't get used to tapping the screen to simulate button presses like that.
Wow, a somewhat irresponsible over-simplification. This article makes you think nothing uses Java so just delete, no worries!
Just to clarify, these Tweets don't represent the whole of Japan, and are actually quite the show of stupidity. Hopefully no one in the cesspool of the internet thinks this is indicative of Japanese people in general. In most cases, when a wallet is dropped or lost, it is often returned to the owner with everything…
I can't believe they are 100% determined to release this on the Wii U. It's the perfect demographic for them, and the system would easily accommodate the game, both on the TV and alone on the controller. It's an easy, easy sell for big profit.
All of the arguments about Mormonism and such are irrelevant to this article.
I guess you missed the sarcasm there? I thought everyone would pick up on it given that I picked two of the worst names among recent games. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is quite possibly the worst video game title in history.
It's unfortunate that this looks like little more than an HD edit of Monster Hunter Tri. The graphics in these screenshots don't look much different than when I play Tri on my Dolphin emulator in 1080p with high settings.
I'm in the same position. I'm in a very negative environment with a lot to be genuinely negative about. But instead, I'm just choosing to ignore the negative and look at the positive. I'm choosing to think before I speak, limit my complaints to what I feel is truly important, and try to only use negativity if I feel I…
There's nothing wrong with an awesome title like Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days or Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.
While I'm a huge PC gamer, and I argue against console fanboys all the time, I also have all of the major consoles (minus the Wii U, yet).
It always disappointments me how "professional" review sites still cling to the idea of the "score." I like Kotaku's system better, although it's still limited in obvious ways.
I'll eat a cheapie steak I cook in a pan, and I'll eat an expensive, gourmet steak cooked at a restaurant. Both are fine by me, and both have their place.
