Good for you.
Judging from all of the responses, I'm getting people telling me they completely disagree, and some saying they agree with most of what I said. Some people say they have no idea why I claim it's WoW-like, and someone else says they agree with that.
Nine Terribly Bad Features That DID Make the Final Game:
Wow, you're really taking this personally. Anyway, I'm done, your comments are getting absurdly ad hominem to the point that it's kinda funny. Brought a smile to my face anyway!
Persistent Online DRM is far, far worse. You can just ignore the day 1 DLC, but the former requires that you bear with the frustration, or find a hacked/cracked copy.
You are completely wrong. There's just no other way to say it. You are just wrong, and it's clear that FFXI is one of your pedestal games, so please go find some other FFXI fanboys and have nerdy fanboy discussion. I started this thread for real debate and discussion.
Your response was so ridiculously absurd as to make me a fool for even debating the issue with you. Especially your comments regarding economics.
That's good for you, in the meantime the rest of us who care about our hobby will continue to voice our desires as consumers to the developers who are seeking our consumption.
Idono, your comment is so outrageously, simply correct and 100% right, that BioWare will be entirely unable to comprehend the genius simplicity — they're still going to botch this one up.
Dear BioWare:
There is a difference between offense and disagreement. But then that does require some intelligence, which I'm not sure if you have it or not. I'm not insinuating that you don't, I just don't know you, and thus have no idea if you have any reasonable intelligence. Just like you don't know about me.
Oh, and you are totally justified to criticize the end-game content without joining a raid. You can easily criticize the game for not offering much end-game content for solo play, if that's your thing.
You still aren't listening. I didn't play it on the console, I played it on the PC right alongside my time with WoW. In comparison, it had TERRIBLE controls. And you're wrong — the game does not provide the optimal control setup you mentioned. Does the game provide you with a keyboard and a controller? No, it doesn't.…
And another winner of the canned, trite, and completely asinine comment about "every month is caucasian heritage month."
What is it that you think I'm trying to help?
You posted a GIF, so I can't respond to anything you said. Sorry, it's my internet-debate rule.
