Happens all the time, but I don't have a personal anecdote. I am a police officer, and I can tell you that no race is immune to this violence. I actually do know a guy who was beaten severely enough to be handicapped, and then the local PD purposefully covered up the crimes because he was white, since they stated as

And we have a winner people! Petrie the Pterodactyl has spouted off the pre-written, canned response by the politically-correct, thin-skinned sissies who exist primarily in liberal universities pushing for "progressive" (aka liberal" agendas.

That's a canned response, and cheap if I ever heard one. The "entire system" ? In many cities, a LARGE portion of government-run organizations are staffed by women, or black individuals, or hispanics. So all of these non-white men are lending special privileges to white men?

Oh, and BTW, can I lobby the government to have a national Caucasian heritage month? Would that be seen equally as well as if I lobbied for a national black heritage month? because, after all, both terms cover a wide variety of backgrounds. Caucasians can be from a variety of different countries, as can black

While this isn't really a game article other than the bad analogy, I will comment.

Check out the Power A ProEX wireless controller for the PS3. It has the offset analog sticks, slightly larger size than the dual shock, and it has a great D-pad. One of the best controllers I've ever used.

While the game came out a couple years before WoW, that isn't really much. Both games ran concurrently and both were very popular during that time. It is VERY reasonable that someone who is accustomed to WoW might then try out FFXI. The comparison is very relevant. You are acting is if no one could come from WoW to

This is a personal opinion question, as there is no objective standard to define "best" in this case.

Listen friend, I don't watch the news. PERIOD. I don't watch it, at all. Not local news, not national news. I don't even have TV, any TV at all. I don't get the "free channels" without hooking up an antenna, which is not hooked up. I don't have cable or any other TV service. I can't watch talking heads, unless they

Hey, I'm not trying to knock your game if it's your kind of thing. I'm not trying to say it's crap or a terrible entry in the series, though I will say I think it was a bad choice to give a numbered title in the main FF series, for the mere sake that it causes continuity issues.

Chad, the recent "bail outs" were LOANS. Are you not even aware of that? Google "GM bailout pay back." That's just one example, but you seem oblivious to the fact that the bail outs were loans. Govt loans.

I read the headline for this, and then came here to read the article, confident that the headline was sarcastic.

BTW, Faux News is NOT libertarian by any stretch. I do not watch Hannity and never will, I can't stand the guy nor most of his opinions. You should spend less time making assumptions and more time looking like less of an ass for doing so.

Sorry Chad, I don't give a sh*t what your background is.

Faux News doesn't share my opinions on govt, trust me; my views are far more libertarian than republican, and Fox News fans would argue with me just like you are.

I'm complaining about exactly what you just said. The govt should not be intruding into private business, it's an example of socialistic practices. Businesses should never go anywhere that they don't feel they can be profitable, and the govt artificially using our tax dollars to "buy" business into their area is

The govt giving money to companies is an element of socialism? ABSOLUTELY. And I doubt anyone who knows about it heard it here first.

LVGamer > Wow. I mean, absolutely unbelievable that you would even think of defending that as "capitalism." It is the furthest thing from capitalism.

Yes, it's a form of socialism. Socialism is characterized by social ownership or control of production of goods or services. When the govt holds money over a private company with strings attached, the govt (society, the representatives of the people) are thus controlling the production of goods or services.
