That was extraordinary. I'm going to miss this show so much. Often times it felt like it was catering directly to my specific tastes when it wasn't giving me everything I never knew I wanted. I hope one day we'll get another glimpse of this world but this was about as perfect an ending as I can imagine.

The way he says, "In the pantry." *shivers*

Oh Kim Dickens, you deserve so much better.

Yes! I use that one so often that I sometimes forget it's a Lemonism.

"I want to go to there." 30 Rock is a treasure trove of these. I catch myself saying "Shark farts!" more often than I'm comfortable with.

:(

Yeah, but this is the first time I'm reading any of the non-Rooney Mara cast, and wow, I am not feeling it at all. I'm even more relieved that this isn't happening now. Although I guess HBO could still try to make it, so… damn.

I don't know, I think he's actually pretty versatile and I know he can do "charismatic" in his sleep, so I'm very excited to see him play a cult leader and turn that innate goodness that he has on its head.

Good for him. He's a great actor who didn't have enough opportunities to show it pre-Hannibal and this sounds like a part that'll let him try something different. I was already interested in this show because of Aaron Paul, but now I'm definitely on board. I'm glad to see that his wonderful work on Hannibal seems to

Hell yes to that entire first paragraph. I'm still so sad about Utopia.

I'd love a Hannibal comic, but I'd definitely prefer to see what Bryan Fuller would do in the medium with an original story. He creates the best universes.

Nick Cave is the first place my mind went. And now I'm into that Nicolas Winding Refn idea, too.

That's nice to hear about Lauren Ambrose. She's wonderful and needs to be in more good things.

Everything in this article is garbage compared to that.

You forgot to post this under your Scott Buck account.

The ratings expectations are way higher for a network, and they promoted it horribly then paired it with Parks and Rec. It's great that he had creative freedom but NBC just isn't the ideal place for a weekly art house horror film.

Fuller didn't seem too worried about it. He talked about creating a Starling-esque character (Shmarlice Shmarling, as he adorably said) to use if they didn't get the rights.

They probably let them get away with more than any other network would, yeah, but that's just it. This isn't the kind of show that belongs on a network. It's a niche, cable show that ended up NBC. They deserve credit for letting Bryan Fuller do his thing, but that doesn't mean that they ever really understood it or

I did that this morning and was just told very nicely that they'd heard from a lot of us and that they'd relay my messages to Netflix. Nothing about social media or anything, so it doesn't seem like a form response to me. Cool.
