It's probable that this won't be very good, but I've seen so many male teen sex comedies that it's refreshing to see one centered around teenage girls wanting to fuck. So basically anything that portrays female sexuality where they aren't merely the objects of desire for the male lead is okay with me.

I noticed something off too, the look in her eyes, her body-language, and her accent sounded strange when she said "Drink?" and I thought, "Is that Helena?" and then when it revealed that it was I just kind of sat there in awe of Maslany. She's insanely great.

Right, except that he purposely sent Will to see the serial killer after Tobias specifically told him that he'd kill anyone who came investigating. Hannibal is just playing with his toys. His concern for Will only stretches as far as his interest in him.

Maybe you could edit this with a spoiler warning? That really is a great moment and it works best after you've seen Jaye go through so much, because that simple answer is a gut-punch. I don't think that people who are new to the show should see this.

I think it would be fairer to say that DLM post-Fuller was just more uneven. There were a lot of great things about it, and I did love the ending, but there were some mild stumbles here and there. The movie, however, was just awful.

Well said. She's a great character played by a great actress and I genuinely did feel her absence this week. With her stability missing, the entire episode felt more insane and out of control, which I think was the intent.
