Me too. All I had to hear was "Bryan Fuller's new show" and I was in for the long haul.

I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face since the news broke. I am very invested in this show.

I ran around my house, laughing madly. Yeah, I have no room to judge.

IT'S RENEWED! Anxiety lifted!

Same! I had a lot of monster under the bed based fear as a child, so even the teaser for this episode freaked me out.

Maybe, but I'm right there with you. It's weird because gore usually makes me feel squeamish, but the only thing on Hannibal that's made me feel even a tiny bit sick is the mushroom people, and even that wasn't bad. I think maybe the tone and artistry just cancels out the squick factor. And the food on Hannibal is so

I'm pretty sure I remember Fuller saying on twitter that he thought they had to tell us by June 1st, but who the fuck knows at this point. I'm getting used to being in a constant state of anxiety over it.

Fuck yeah, Wonderfalls! It was my favorite Fuller show until Hannibal came along and claimed that position.

"I'm a HUGE Bryan Fuller fan, and I don't want a Bryan Fuller show to portray anything even in the vague proximity of reality, because that would be a show he's not really into."

This isn't to say that Will's "gift" isn't ridiculous, because it is. But he doesn't receive visions from nowhere; his subconscious picks up everything and pieces it together, and his extremely active imagination does the rest. He does deduce, it's just that his brain is always sifting through facts and evidence, and

I have been to beaches in West Virginia and people say, "I'm going to the beach."

Yeah, all that plus it's very inexpensive, AND it's doing far better in other countries than it is in the US. This isn't a show that people are going to want to let fade away.

No. They have beaches in West Virginia.

Ooh, good point!

I like that this show is so unconcerned with being procedural. It just uses the crime of the week as a means to explore the main characters and the themes being developed. It's exactly what I want in a crime series.

Wasn't there a Bourdain reference in the episode? One of the victims had that last name, I think.

And I love that Hannibal indicated that he knew all along that she helped her father. So great.

Yes! He's incredible. Everyone on this show is really killing it, I couldn't be more pleased.

Can we talk about how goddamn scary the promo for next week is? When Will looks under the bed and touches the person's hand and says, "You aren't alone," jesus christ.

I thought so too! I actually gasped aloud at the look on her face.
