Wonderfalls was actually my favorite Fuller show before Hannibal came along!

Yeah, honestly, my first thought was that it was a vaginal reference.

The aria being sung at the concert is Handel's “Piangero," according to Bryan Fuller's twitter. He named all the music from the night.

That's what I'm hoping!

I know that Fuller said it ends on a huge cliffhanger, so we'll be screwed if we don't get season 2, unfortunately.

I think I've read that season 2 would be pre-Red Dragon too (I imagine that it would end with Will discovering Hannibal), season 3 would be some kind of fugitive situation, and season 4 would be Red Dragon.

I want so badly for this show to run for as long as Bryan Fuller wishes, and it's driving me crazy that such a decision seems to be in the hands of NBC. I tweeted Martha De Laurentiis (executive producer) to ask her if it was a possibility that a cable network would pick the show up if NBC passed, and she replied "oh

That was an intentional reference!

This is far and away my favorite episode of this show so far, and that's saying something because I've loved them all. It was so fun, like I laughed out loud so much. But I was also weirdly heartbroken watching Hannibal try to make connections with people. That scene alone in his office when Will doesn't show up, man.

YES, the music in tonight's episode was so perfect.

The confrontation with the stranded doctor was in color because it wasn't a flashback. He met him, took his business card, and then waited a while (until the events of tonight's episode) to hunt him down.

Okay, now renew Hannibal, goddamnit.

Just a correction, the unaired Hannibal episode is not on Hulu, but on itunes.

The way that Miriam found out in tonight's episode is pretty much exactly what happened in the book. Will realizes later, when he's in the hospital that it must have been 'Wound Man' that made him subconsciously figure it out.

Yeah, Hugh mostly terrified me in that scene but I'd be lying if I said I didn't take a moment to notice that his shirt was unbuttoned. Sorry.

It was awful.

So true. I've always thought that Dancy is a wonderful actor, but he's really impressing the hell out of me with this performance.

Yeah, I was wondering if Miriam discovering Hannibal by seeing Wound Man meant that Will is going to figure him out in some other way. I'm very excited about what they might come up with!

I loved this episode. Hugh Dancy scared the shit out of me in Will's little murder re-enactment, and then completely broke my heart when it showed him holding back tears in the aftermath of his fantasy.

If there's a significant ratings increase for Hannibal this week, I will probably cry actual tears of joy and relief.
