I think Mads is attractive but I don't get Tom Hiddleston AT ALL.

I'm also hoping that the fact that it's sold so well in other countries gives it a better chance than most shows with poor ratings.

Man. At this point I am now well and truly obsessed with this show. If it doesn't get a renewal I'm going to be devastated.

You are not alone! Grow Up and Blow Away is still my favorite, too.

Gretchen Speck was a character in Wonderfalls (Jaye went to highschool with her) and it looked to me like she was even played by the same actress!

Quite possibly.

Re: Michonne going back to the prison- She pretty much stated outright why she did when she was in the car with Merle. It's her one chance to be with people, to be a part of something, to be human. She wants someone to mourn her when she's gone.

Wait, I thought that he took the phone to hit her in the head with, because it was heavy enough to knock her out. Didn't he hit her with it?

They've also been hinting that Johnny's in love with her almost since the beginning of the series. It was a nice touch to have him finally tell her right after she found out he'd betrayed them.

I just want to thank The AV Club and Daniel Knauf for this again. It's lovely to finally read a more detailed plan of what was to come (it sounds great to me), and it's also satisfying to hear that many of my assumptions and expectations were correct. It's just so sad that we'll never get to watch it unfold on our

This thread is wonderful.

I have the same feelings that you do, just about opposite shows. I found Lost fairly uninteresting, tedious, and poorly written. However, I found Carnivale exciting and fascinating, and it even works just as well for me when I rewatch it knowing the answers to most of the mysteries. Rewatching Lost is like playing a

Thank you so much for this! I still miss the hell out of this show so it's really nice to see that others still care that much, too.

God, I wish it'd get a blu-ray release. I mean, Deadwood got one so I guess anything's possible?

Yeah, I don't understand the "slow" complaint at all either, but I tend to love slow-burn TV and film. I don't need heavy plot machinations when the characters and world are as fascinating as those on Carnivale.

Did you shamefully join an old Yahoo group to gain access to script notes, the show bible, and other related material that only made you more upset about the awesome things we'll never see, too?

Man, what a fantastic surprise this was. Super excited for the 2nd part.

This episode gets an A from me for Jody and Kenny's video and "Jesus Christ, Nelson, sorry I forgot your birthday!" alone.

kirivinokur - I think it's fairer to say that somebody here doesn't care about one dimensional black stereotypes filmed like a Levi's ad with an over-developed sense of whimsy.

I'd go as far as saying that Nocturama is his only proper miss ever.
