I haven’t seen anyone claim that Amber Heard has to be a saint, here or anywhere else. Even recognitions, who is about as anti-Depp and pro-Heard as anyone anywhere isn’t arguing that. Most people on Heard’s side aren’t on her side at all, they just think this case is meritless, especially after he lost the UK suit.

Apart from the fact Depp’s own communications and other evidence demonstrates that while the physical aspect of abuse is being fought over no one’s exactly denying the fact he was abusive in every way up to that margin so much as just side-stepping that awkward aspect.

Made the mistake of seeing the reaction to Heard’s first witness, their called upon forensic psychologist, and I was in no way shocked that it immediately online became Depp’s one is a true “queen” and oh look how pretty she looks while Heard’s is vile and awful because of course it did.

I mean his “victory” is far from “inevitable”. So far it’s been a headline-grabbing mudslinging fest but the actual grounds of the case, that Heard maliciously lied about him being an abuser in the op-ed and thereby committed defamation, has barely been touched.

Not only do we not have to believe that, her past DV charge—like almost all of Depp’s case—are irrelevant to his case (they might be relevant to her counterclaim, but I don’t favor her winning that, either).
