Especially since there are some sequels that many consider better than the original, such as Toy Story 2.

Ssometimes these articles are unnecessarily snarky

They share your laments, hehe.

Ridley-me-this haha!

Red Letter Media actually just did that in their most recent video. In the top grossing 200 films of all time, adjusted for inflation:

In an upcoming sequel it’s revealed that Trudy and Mark Spitz form what is referred to as a “Force Nyad.”

I hear in the movie Ridley’s character believes the whole time she’s a nobody born to non-descript parents, until the end when she learns her real dad is Johnny Weismuller.

Marginalizing Daisy Ridley is totally on brand for Disney.

the other two prequels just kind of make me sad because it’s lucas spinning his wheels going ‘this is what you want, right? boba fett is a clone of his own father!’

Never understood how the fuck Lucas is spoken of as being in the same field as the Hollywood New Wave guys like Spielberg, Scorsese, Bogdanovich, Lynch, Coppola, Altman, et al, other than just being around at the same damn time.

And yet he somehow out did himself with “I don’t like sand” just three years later.

“That’s gotta hurt!” when one of the racers crashes is prime example why Lucas shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near dialogue.

Never going to understand why people keep trying to rehabilitate one of the worst movies ever made. The thrill of an actual race or even of a movie where they use real cars is completely absent, the crowd reactions are terrible, the announcer is terrible, the faces people keep pulling and the kid keep pulling are

Psst... Gen Z is doing the same thing to the prequels Gen X did with the original trilogy. They’re allowing nostalgia to inflate their sense of it’s quality.

Since he’s British we can call him a cunt

Who would of thought that a guy who looks like the spawn of a cave man and a street magician would turn out to be a sex pest?

He also famously said don't vote it doesn't matter.  Yeah he isn't what he claims he is.

So suspending monetization just means his videos are still up on YouTube but they aren't going to pay him right? So YouTube won't let him make any money because he is an accused sex offender, but they will still make money off him even though he is an accused sex offender? What a weaselly way to handle it.

Y’know lots of people are in those movies and stuff’s beyond Kenneth Branagh’s control but that said...MAN...
