I have a friend out here in the Upper Midwest - she was an exchange student from Prague who ended up marrying an American and staying here, though she still tries to get home once a year.  She is of an age where she grew up when it was Communist Czechoslovakia. (She’s got some excellent stories.)

The author writes “All of the victims were under the age of 21” in an article about saving the lives of “kids”. Legally you become an adult at 18. So why does he include statistics on people up to 21? Simply to pump up the numbers.

This. It’s like if a black man wrote an essay about Obama and heavily implied he wasn’t a real black man because he never joined a gang or smoked crack. It’s literally criticizing the man for not embodying stereotypes.

Uh...wasn’t (and isn’t) one the the huge complaints “progressives” had (have) re: Obamacare that it didn’t include a public option or allow negotiations and/or have price controls for drug costs?

Wait.... Do you really want to make subsidized care for undocumented immigrants a litmus test? At tye very least shouldn’t we wait to see how that California and NYC coverage models work?
