I 1639 in Washington that was passed recently made it mandatory that gun owners are required to allow the state to check their mental health history to keep the guns they already own, not just buy new ones.

Yes once they weren't allowed to skew their data to support anti gun politicians it really put a damper on things.  Obama had the CDC study gun violence.  What did that study find?

I understand and agree. I know how parents are. I am one.

1. My former step brother was committed several times when I was younger, but I’m not sure what the process is. I know being committed doesnt mean a court declared you insane. Any commitment, either voluntary or by law enforcement, is disqualifying.

There are people who honestly believe that if congress votes to ban firearms, and the president signs the law, then the military will assist them because they are “gun people,” and they took an oath to defend the constitution, the document that says the congress votes on laws and the president signs them.

I'm not sure.  I have the facts but can't put them together.  I'm pro Second Amendment.  Given these facts, what do you think the answer is?

I’m not being disingenuous. I’m starting facts and, really looking for answers. The I had an idea why they don’t post about those other shootings (that sounds dismissive, but I’m bad with words sometimes) but I think now I was being short sighted.

I’m not here to downplay or Highlight any mass shooting in particular. I am also not using “gang related” as a euphemism. I am questioning why Splinter chooses to post blogs only about certain ones.

I think you are missing my point, and I am sure it’s my fault. I think these stories should get attention. I believe Splinter is purposefully skewing their narrative.

I don’t mean assault rifle, but I was told yesterday that now is not the time to discuss terminology.

I don’t know if this is your point or not, but the splinter writers are here to scare suburban whites about semi auto rifles.
