That is what makes it weird though. The Vectra VXR and the Cobalt SS (turbo) are very similar in performance on paper. I know the platforms are entirely different, but I thought it was something to note.
Even the cost cutter CEO Dieter Zetsche 10 yrs ago thought those seats sucked! His commercials were funny though.
A Cadillac ATS/2016 Volt are exceptions, but for some odd reason I concur otherwise.
I meant gutless in the way that it is not flush with straight line power like most other cars nowadays. My Ford C-Max crawling in EV only mode is gutless (no issue because the gas motor starts and pumps power in if you put the pedal all the way down).
Things must’ve been different in my part of MI or the people I hanged out with weren’t complete idiots when it came to driving (many ME/EE majors were children of Big 3 engineers from Metro Detroit). One of them became a test engineer for the Corvette at Milford.
The interesting thing interior aside is just how similar the Turbo SS is on paper to the Vauxhall/Opel Vectra VXR that was sold in Europe/Australia.
I would start a GoFundMe for the poor Prius. The thought of me trading it in for a rollin coal bro truck (the ransom would be cash) would drive eco-nazis so insane that they would pitch in enough cash for my ulterior plan to in reality trade it in for a Tesla.
A turbo model with the ignition switch fixed is excused though.
Did you see the part of my comment that says “proper gearbox”. The ones that are not driving like drunken monkeys will have manual gearboxes. A Versa, really? These must be poor sorority girls. The ones that I knew of at MSU had BMWs, Merc SUVs and Jeeps.
All teenagers should learn to drive in this car with a proper gearbox. It’s uncool/gutless enough to not want to showboat in and has the additional effect of repelling the friends they have that are actually stupid. The gutless powertrain allows them to actually think about their actions and drive defensively. They…
I used to see one of these being driven by a lawyer every day. There was no rust on that car and the car kept being driven even in the two Michigan winters where I worked. It had the same roof, same color as that picture, but it must’ve been a lower model. I say that because it had steelies with wire hubcaps. By the…
For some reason I have no problem with this since this seemed like a 1 time deal and seeing a truck with lit menorahs might be more rare than seeing a Land Rover Defender outside of Martha’s Vineyard.
This is how non-Prius and non-Bro Truck drivers advertise their idiocy in driving to the world.
This plate wins forever! 10/10 would actually put on my car even though I have legal plates already.
Google will merely test more in Nevada which already has autonomous vehicle plates! They also have a testing facility with U of M in Ann Arbor.
