Whenever there’s rain or the car is washed, the car brakes all weird. A couple hard stops or going down a hill, shifting into neutral(disables regen) then riding the brakes fixes that.

It may have been a “chick” car, but I’d be damned if I didn’t say it wasn’t fun to drive on mountain roads.

I have 2 Fords but Ford axed anything that I’d want to buy (save for an F-150 but that’s 50-60k+ where I live, more than a year’s salary...) and all the Ford dealers try hard to not service hybrid models where I live which infuriates me.

The focus is amazing, but only with a manual transmission. Most of the ones with DCTs are complete lemons and people found that out quick. If they had went with a normal Automatic transmission or a DCT that had better longevity, Ford may have not had such an issue.

Denver may suck to fly out of as your origin airport in some cases, but it’s a breeze to connect through. It’s all laid out in a logical manner and I make my connections.

And then you have idiots like at Ford that basically stop supporting the software after just 3 years (with warranty still intact!!!). Some cars with Sync after just a couple of years had stuff just stop working like health reports/maintenance logging that one set oneself.

Old school Thinkpads had good touchpads that worked for me. Otherwise I use a mouse. Touchpads are so bad now even on MacBooks.

I remember researching this at work. It’s a $12,000+ option which is steeper than any 4x4 option for a pickup truck. That way overshoots the potential market for a factory 4x4 option, those guys who bought the Ancient AWD Savanas from GMC.

I know of Government agencies here that would kill for an AWD Transit. Some work tasks need to be done standing up in the cargo area in 3 foot snow drifts. A pass through from the cab is real nice in the winter.
