I sometimes do this with a MT, on a slight hill and I let the car rest against a curb...a natural rear wheel chock in a parking lot.

I don’t think I’ve ever worn out floor mats in any car I’ve ever owned. I do tap my feet if I walk through mud or snow because it makes the pedals slippery. Taking off your shoes in January in North Dakota is a great way to get frostbite (it got to -30 F 3 days this january and from that temp it takes forever to warm…
If a dealer wouldn’t accept my credit union as 3rd party financing...I walk. End of story.
Zedo, we are near our limit on the vehicle level on being quiet for tire noise (good tires, not cheap or unmaintained tires). Plus the Federal govt wants hybrids and electrics to make loud noise so they can be heard. I used to work with a sound wall crew at a DOT where noise pollution would be checked. If it was above…
I hate to break it to you but I have a hybrid that can go to 85 in EV mode and once >25mph, the car in EV versus ICE mode sounds almost the same because of tire noise. Eliminating the tire noise means eliminating the friction that keeps you on the road. Both lack of friction on roads would kill us along with the…
Yes....A Ford Flex is more hoonable than one might think...especially with the Ecoboost.
Gene Butman Ford was ok (parents bought something there and were happy with the vehicle). Fowlerville Ford (practically an exurb of Detroit now) has/had a good internet sales manager that was easy to deal with. The key was to have a check ready from your credit union.
I will note that if you see me drive 25 in a 45 with my winter tires, it is because I sense either polished snow/ pure ice on the road. No one is gonna do well in those conditions, except tires modified for ice racing. SE MI is unlikely to have either of the noted conditions as long as it’s above zero/salt on the…
Where I work they have a number with the rental companies and when booking, one must take the full insurance provided by the rental company. It is included and is very nice when traveling for work.
Release an F-150/Explorer Hybrid that gets 30mpg for negligible premium over the gas model and they’ll sell because extra torque for towing/hauling. Batteries in the back of my hybrid wagon is like putting bags of sand in the trunk for snow driving, works the same way for a hybrid big SUV/pickup.
Also less noise...truck stops can be loud.
Yes
Close second is Kia of Lansing....I wannaa see ya inna Kia! with the perfect nasal accent...
France uses mostly nuclear.
Having an electric car charger in the near future can and will be a big way to attract tenants. Possibly with the money the tenant saves on petrol the landlord can incorporate usage into the agreement and both will mutually benefit.
I used to work as loader and forklift driver a long time ago, the cargo and how it’s secured will play a bigger role if a truck can accelerate like a car now.
Please write a story of this on Oppositelock!!!!!!!
A hybrid or EV flex would be amazing! If you put the batteries in like a tesla the low center of gravity would be lower, making the handling even better!
So your Grand Wagoneer has caught fire from starting fluid too?
If you fold the seat down it has a completely flat floor around 5' 6" from the rear hatch to the back of the front seats (not all the way up). I can fit a large plastic storage bin in the back with all the seats up. The C-max has a lot more space than its size would suggest (very Euro in that way). As for the Kayaks,…
