Hey we were lucky to get MTV at all. It was banned by my town for several years. I had to watch it scrambled or go to a friend's house in another town to see it until 1988 or so.

Wow, I totally forgot about that. I guess they were always a bit behind the times and resistant to change.
Looking back I probably should have watched more 120 Minutes, but I was much more of a Headbanger's Ball type of kid back then.
To his credit I think he was making the connection between giving up Finn which allowed the alliance to happen and the subsequent betrayal of that alliance during the attack on Mt Weather. To wit: never trust grounders to keep their word.
Seems more Trump than Bush/Cheney. At least Bush stood up and made a distinction between terrorists and Islam after 9-11.
Pike's rationalizations make about as much sense as Anakin's in Revenge of the Sith.
It is unreasonable for a couple of reasons.
1. The copyright system was set up to encourage new art, not to enrich licensees for decades and decades.
2. An economic system built on artificial scarcity where you do not control the means of duplication just does not work.
He weeps for he has but one small tongue with which to taste the whole world.
That was huge plate in the drying rack on the counter. Somehow it made her look even more pregnant.
Not to mention all the balls always bouncing to the left and to the right.
Which is why it is so disappointing that the show went the expected route when so many times it has avoided these stunts.
I was thinking that the tempo of that song would speed up into yet another Violent Femmes song.
That was my example too.
I also gave up 24 at the end of the first season when they killed off his wife. I think I was just pissed that the actress had been on TV the day before talking about season 2 so I was VERY confident when I told my wife that there was no way she was going to die.
That is exactly how I felt after they killed Kellie Martin's character in ER. I ended up watching a few random episodes after that, but that is when I knew the show was done and I stopped watching regularly.
Sorry - just getting caught up after binging the first two seasons over the past few weeks.
I kind of did that. I was in a 4 year intercourse-free relationship through high school and my freshman year of college. After we broke up I hooked up with a divorced woman 10 years my senior and I lost my virginity at 20. It was pretty good for me because she was not looking for anything long term with a college kid…
Wow, that sounds great. I can hardly get 5 minutes to myself as of the evening without my kids yelling that they need something or are fighting over something. Between that and making food, doing dishes and laundry and cleaning for 4 people, bathtime, bedtime stories, homework etc. I really don't get to do do much…
In the parlance of our times, I believe it is "dem titties".
When supply of something is infinite, you have to find an alternative means of monetizing it. Artificial scarcity only works if you control all aspects of the duplication process. I am not making a moral argument but an economic one.
Dammit, I have the Drumpf extension and now I cannot tell if you guys are saying Drumpf or Tr*mp is getting translated for me.
